Chapter 10
Kyle's P.O.V.
'Oh my god' I almost said out loud. I can't be right. No, i'm just over thinking this. She wouldn't do this. I mean, I barely know her but she wouldn't do this. She's such a beautiful, smart, funny girl. I hope that everything is just a coincidence. She can't cut herself, she can't. But what if she does? 'NO! Stop thinking like that.' I tell myself.
I get out of the pool, dry off and go hug her without saying anything, she just hugs me back. Before I can stop myself, I say "I know."
"Know what?" She asks confused. I hug her tighter and point to her wrist. She starts crying. "Let me guess, you probably think i'm stupid now?" she manages between sobs.
"No, I would never think that," I assure her "but I do want you to stop." She looks up at me. "I know I only met you yesterday but I care about you." She starts crying harder. I look at C.j. She looks concered. 'It's okay' I mouth to her. She nods and keeps swimming.
When Falon's sobs finally stop, I let her go then grab her hand and take her inside. I bring her over to the couch and cuddle her up to me. "This doesn't change my opinion about you," she tries to smile "I meant it when I said I cared about you." She had a slight smile. "Come on, smile. For me?" She finally smiles. God I love her smile. Should I ask her? No, it's not a good time.
We cuddled for a bit then Falon said "I have to go home tonight."
"Oh" was all I could manage.
"I'm sorry. I can ask if you can come with me, if you want." She says.
"Okay" I smile. She gets up and calls her dad.
She comes back, "He said yes, but you can't sleep in my room."
"I'm fine with that." We tell C.j, then we all get ready. We stop at the theater where Falon left her car. Her and C.j got into her car and as they drove off, I followed them to her house. "God i'm nervous" I told myslef.
