Chapter 18
Kyle's P.O.V.
"Falon?" I hear. I look at her and she looks at me. Dwayne and Julie said they would wait there. Falon leads me to the room, sits down and pulls out her notebook. She starts writing. The doctor walks in and she closes her notebook. They talk for a little bit then start her treatment.
I stay next to her the whole time. She looks like she's in pain. But while she's writing, it looks like nothing can hurt her. She's so into writing that the doctor has to tap her to let her know she's done her treatment.
"I'll be right back" She says. Within a few minutes, she's back. "We just had to do a few tests to make sure the cancer is gone." She pauses. "And it is!' She says happily. Falon jumps up and hugs her.
"Thank you" she whispers. The doctor leaves and Falon walks over to me and gives me a hug. I give her a quick kiss then we walk out to her dad and Julie. "It's gone" she yells and hugs them. I just kinda stand there until Falon says "Come on kyle, you're part of the family now." I smile and join their group hug.
