Epilogue

The Celeste lands on a long plateau overlooking the SkyCity graveyard within the RaptorFangs. A summit of Griffons met on the bridge of the Celeste, and it is decided the best way to insure this never happens again was to resurrect the SkyCities, relocating them back to the Griffon Kingdom where they would be under the full control of the Griffon assembly for the united kingdom pulling the race out of its present slump.

Over the next five months the Celeste and its full engineering crew assisted the Griffons in restoring the towers, with some changes. The Cloning facilities were yanked... Only for the engineering crew to discover a month after the latest defeat of Chrysalis near the end of the rebuild a bad thing.

"There are missing clone machines?"

Skoffer nods, wiping the sweat from his moist head feathers as he showed Celliani the accounting. "Some bird looted two cities worth o' cloning equipment. And from what th' volunteers helping with th' rebuild say? Dark Changelings looted it from th' disposal pit before we had a chance ta finish the dismantle."

"The rest?"

"Our dragon allies melted th' junk down ta scrap but th' damage is done. Some creature looted a good portion of cloning equipment."

"Great. Just great."

From the moment Avery and Roaring met young Grace they fell in love with her. Since she had no family according to her they adopted her, deciding to throw caution to the wind and starting their future together as a family. In the aftermath of the SkyCity battle they took Grace down to the Celeste's medico bay already intent on adopting her. The Medico Bay was mostly empty as the united force of dragons, griffons, ponies and crew were top priority post the fighting. Still one lone Averian was waiting for them as they entered. He did the full exam, chatting with the three of them putting them at ease. As he injected her with boosters he tapped her forehead, "Not that you need a boost, your body is full of helpful stuff that'll keep you healthy on the inside. And two loving parents to protect you all over."

Avery smiled, "There's no guarantee we will..."

"Oh I don't think you need to worry about that. Trust me, I'm your Friendly Neighborhood Doctor... I'll be right back."

As he steps into a side door Chief Medical Officer Zaldana returns. "Ah the lady I heard much tonight. Let me get ready and I'll examine you outright."

The three exchange glances. "That's OK, but your aide already examined her. He's in that room."

"Room? Aide? That's not right. As you can see..." (opens door) "...this is storage. The plight..."

"Satisfied?"

The Doctor flipped levers and switches, the TARDIS in motion. The holo device lying on the console removed from his arm. "I never thought I'd use one of the many tech I confiscated over the years, Clara, but... I had to see. If it was truly Amy and Rory reborn."

"And?"

"It doesn't matter." The 11th Doctor says, a smile creeping across his face. "They're getting a second chance at a happy family. That's good enough for me."

The morning of Hearths Warming Day a slightly worn, but excited Sunburst met Cadance and Shining Armor for their Hearths Warming engagement at the new Crystal Radio station to deliver the Kingdom Address. It was an uneventful morning as all were home celebrating Hearths Warming... Except the dozens they ran into walking to the station, at the station, and back from the station. All praising them for their Griffon nanny they hadn't even hired yet. By the time Gabby actually arrives in the Empire her reputation had already preceded her well before she arrived. The side effect of her good deeds while in the past.

In Chaos space a dark wolf godling sits on all fours in quiet reflection. Pondering all its pieces on the "board" of Equestria planning its next move.

"Still think your ahead of the game don't you, Depraved."

A paw comes into view, human and Griffon figures in paw knocking one of the Griffon pieces off the board.

"My Gabby and Nardol takes out your Glavius."

"This isn't a chess game, Discord. This is domination." Depraved growls, motioning to his other pieces. "As long as depravity exists, I'll never run out of avatars to raise my dark standards over the field."

"We'll see about that."

As Discord leaves Depraved carefully picks up Glavius, putting his piece besides a dark red TARDIS and its shadowy figure within the piece's open doorway.

As the TARDIS drops Celestia off back at Canterlot Castle Nardol points at Celestia's flank. "Your tattoo is flashing."

"Tattoo?? That's a cutie mark, Nardol! Honestly get caught up! Honestly you'll never be a Brony at this rate!"

Celestia's magic pulls the Doctor's screwdriver from his suit, flashing in unison with Celestia's cutie mark. "Looks like our mission was a success."

"I guess..." The Doctor remarks, "Thank you for insuring Avery and Roaring will have no problem adopting Grace."

"No problem. Glad to help. You OK?"

"Yeah..." (turns back towards Nardol at the TARDIS doors, a wistful grin on his face) "Eventually. Well... See you around Princess."

And with that he walks into the TARDIS. whistling a unknown tune, before he closes the doors Celestia calls out "What is that song? I don't think I ever heard it before."

"A song a stranger once sung me and... A very special person... On a night I will never forget."

With that the  the TARDIS doors closed, vanishing.

Celestia turns and walks off, Luna certainly back from her dimension hopping... Whistling the same tune, surprised the longer she did the more she knew the song.... And she did not know why.

Epilogue
Hearths Warming Eve, One Year Later...

Luna wakes up, raising the moon, walking to join Celestia in the sister's personal kitchen. As she walks in she notices her cutie mark flashing. "Oh great. Twilight's map of non cuteness is summoning me. What non joy. Tia? I'm being summoned by the Cutie Map thing..."

"We know." Celestia said, walking in. Her cutie mark was flashing, as well as the sonic screwdriver gripped tightly in the hand of the confused woman on Celestia's back. "It wants all three of us."

"Princess Luna...?" (The female voice from Celestia's back gasped) "Strange. I think I know you... And resent that? Why would I resent that? Are you a former companion?"

"Companion to YOU?? I would rather binge eat cake until my flank is as wide as the marshmallow pony sister's your sitting on..." Luna, face scowling, hissed "You?? You regenerated... Into THAT...!?! Are you bucking me!?!"

"No of course not... What does buck mean."

Celestia - "Don't ask."
