2-D enters the washroom.
"Is it really true? You're leaving us?" He asks.
His dark eyes look soulless.
He looks pained.
"Stu... Y/N literally can't survive without me. Hell, she almost got herself arrested for me!" Says Murdoc with a chuckle.
He takes your hand.
"Murdoc Niccals. You are Gorillaz. You're Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz." Says 2-D with a shaky voice.
You hate seeing 2-D in this state. You want to say something but you know it won't help the situation.
Murdoc and 2-D have locked eyes now.
"I can't leave her, D... you guys can survive without me." Says Murdoc. He doesn't have any regret in his voice.
2-D sighs and opens the door.
"Just... know that we aren't an actual band without Murdoc Niccals." Says 2-D, and leaves the washroom.
"Hey! Faceache!" Calls out Murdoc, but 2-D doesn't look back.
"Murd—"
Murdoc cuts you off with a passionate kiss.
"This is all for you, love..." Says Murdoc. He finally has some pain behind his voice.
"2-D should know that you're hurt over this decision. You sounded so cold." You say.
"Dear Satan, he knows! Eh, they all know."
You don't know how to thank Murdoc. He just left his band for you.
"Eh, now I gotta find a way to get us outta here." He says.
"You could distract the officers." You suggest.
Murdoc opens the door, seeing no officers.
"Aha! The coast is—"
You look up at Murdoc. He didn't finish his sentence.
"Clear?" You ask.
Murdoc doesn't move a muscle.
You walk towards him to see what's caught his attention.
Noodle.
"She's just... sitting there." You say.
Noodle is sitting down in the chair, staring off into the distance.
She looks frozen.
You see it's starting to get dark outside.
"Where's the other members?" You ask.
Murdoc walks out of the washroom, not caring if anyone sees him.
He then sits down beside Noodle.
You can't hear what they're saying, so you shut the door again, not to draw any attention to yourself.
You look at yourself in the mirror.
