✶ Sunset ✶ Chapter 10

A week later

You awake to the sound of knocking at your door.

You groan as you hop out of bed, nearly falling over due to your eyes not adjusting properly yet.

"Coming!" You scream, annoyed.

You open the door, Murdoc bursting through.

"WHERE THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU?!" He screams.

"W-what?" You ask, falling onto your butt.

"WE HAD PLANS FOR TODAY, AND YOU WEREN'T RESPONDING TO ANYTHIN', SCARING THE ABSOLUTE HELL OUTTA ME!" He screams again.

You look down. "Shit. I'm sorry, Murdoc. I overslept." You mumble.

Murdoc notices that he's frightened you, kneeling down in front of you.

"Look love, I'm sorry." He says, taking your hands.

You can feel yourself blush. "It's okay, Murdz. You had every right to be mad at me." You say, looking down.

You try to force a smile on your face.

"No... it's not okay." He says, pulling your chin up.

You look him in the eyes...

God, he's so beautiful!

He smiles and hugs you.

"You know I love you, right?" You say, digging your fingers into his back.

You can hear him grunt.

"I'm not used to people saying that, y'know." He says.

You chuckle. "Well, I seriously do mean it, Murdoc Niccals. I love you." You say again.

You can feel his grip get tighter.

He then let's go of you, pushing you down onto the floor from your sitting position.

You giggle as he slides his hands up your shirt grabbing onto your boobs, kissing you.

"Come on, Murdz... lets get going!" You say playfully.

He chuckles and finally gives in, pulling your shirt back down getting up.

"We can take this someplace else." You grin.

That creates a big smirk on his face.

...

Murdoc pulls up in front a beach.

It looks empty and peaceful.

The sun is just beginning to set, causing the sky to look a dark red.

You let off a huge smile.

You love the beach, especially at sunset. It's that time that's just past golden hour... it's beautiful.

You step out of the car in awe, just trying to take it all in.

"Murdoc Faust Niccals... why are you doing all this for me?" You ask.

"Eh, well, you are my girlfriend after all." He says, putting his hands in his pockets.

You giggle and run into his arms.

He pulls your chin up to kiss you, but you squirm away at the last second, throwing your shoes off and running onto the beach, the sand crunching underneath your feet.

You run all the way up to the water, getting your feet damp.

You stare off into the sunset, the wind pushing your hair behind your ears.

A few moments later, you feel manly hands wrap around your waist.

You feel yourself smile.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you look?" Murdoc says.

"Shuddup."

He tightens his grip.

"I'm never letting go of ya. Don't ever think I will. You're mine forever now!" He says, nuzzling your neck.

You giggle again.

He carefully swipes you off your feet, laying you down softly in the sand.

Murdoc then takes out a speaker, turning on 'Just Another Woman In Love by: Anne Murray'.

You smile, and notice a picnic box.

"What's that?" You ask.

"Why, it's champagne, my love!" He says, taking out a bottle.

You smile as he pours you a glass.

"Cheers." He says, as you two clink your glasses together, and stare off into the sunset.
