✶ Farewell ✶ Chapter 13

You wake up on Murdoc's floor.

He has a beer bottle dangling in his hand.

You open your eyes, instantly feeling a pounding in your head.

You're hungover.

You don't want to wake the poor guy, so you carefully help yourself up by clinging to the end of the bed for support.

As you carefully open his bedroom door, you hear a faint ruffle in the sheets.

"Y/N...? Where are ya going, love?" You hear Murdoc grunt in a sleepy voice.

You smile and turn towards him, even though it's dark.

"I'm leaving. I thought it'd be better if you got—"

"No, stay." He interrupts you.

You smile again, slowly making your way towards the king sized bed.

You can see Murdoc's figure clearly now.

He sits up, pulling you down into his lap.

"Don't leave me alone." He carefully whimpers in your ear.

That makes you weak.

You swing your arm around him, and use your other hand to hold his face, kissing him.

You want him all.

You push him down onto the bed, passionately making out with him.

You can see his arms awkwardly at his sides, not knowing what he should do with them, since you're the one leading.

Murdoc then sits up, you still in his lap.

"I... we go on tour today." He says.

"You forgot?" You ask.

"Yeah... look, Y/N... I'll be gone for some time. Do ya think you can manage without 'ol Murdz for a while?" He says, placing his hand on your thigh.

You can feel tears stream down your face.

"Y-yeah." You say with a shaky voice.

You can feel Murdoc tighten his grip on you. He really doesn't wanna let go.

Before you know it, you're at the front door of Kong Studios with the band.

"Take care of this place." Says 2-D with a smile.

Murdoc is the last one to leave. He just stands there... staring at you.

"What?" You ask playfully with tears in your eyes.

"I love you." He says.

You can feel your heart already ache for him, and he hasn't even left yet.

He gets one more good look at you before turning around, and closing the door.

You stand there like an idiot, staring at the door.

You then snap out of it.

You open the door and run outside, looking for Murdoc... but he's already left.

"Wait! I... I love you too." You say to yourself.
