I can't believe Janet would harrass me like that,I want to tell them but I don't want Jack to hurt me more then what he's doing now.I snuck inside the house to find Jack not in the living room,so I snuck upstairs when I got up there Jack wasn't there either,Where could he be? I didn't worry myself I just got ready to take a shower.My phone lit up and it was a voicemail from Michael.I listen to the voicemail,called Mikey back and put the phone on speaker phone
"Latoya I'm sorry for-"He started to say but I cut him off
"Its fine, I know how Janet gets when she's angry"I say laying on the bed
"I think she's just crazy in the head sometimes"He said bursting into laughter
"That's not nice Mikey"I said laughing softly
"Well she shouldn't be that mean"
"Well I think she's just looking after the family"I say rolling my eyes in disbelief
"Toy can I ask a question?"
"Yeah sure"
"Is Jack hurting you?"He said softly into the phone
"What!?!"I said surprise that he just said that
"Toya I said-"
"I know what you said but why would you ask me that did Janet tell you to ask me"I said getting aggravated
"Calm down Toya it's just a simple question and Janet haven't said anything about it to me,wait why are you even mad?"He tried to change the subject
"Don't change the subject!!! I can't believe you actually just ask me that and That question is not as simple as you think" Jack walked in the room and my heart dropped
"LaToya I'm sorry I won't ask again just calm down" Jack was staring at me and I didn't move
"I will call you back"I told Mikey hanging up the phone
"Okay,I love-"
I hung up the phone and looked at Jack he had this look on his face like he was about to kill me
"Who was that?"He said walking towards me
"Michael"I said getting up and walking backwards
"Oh,so where did you go earlier"He said grabbing my arm and pulling me to him
"What you mean? I was up here the whole time you were asleep"I said getting scared and tears forming in my eyes
"Oh so now your lying to me" he softly laughs "I came up here and you weren't here I even called your name and there wasn't an answer,so im going to ask again,tell me where did you go?"
"I went out with Michael and Janet"I said with a tear going down my face "Please don't hurt me,I'm sorry"I say starting to cry
"Don't cry baby,I'm not going to do anything to you"He said wiping my tears away and kissing my cheek
I looked at him surprised and thanked god that he didnt hurt me,Maybe he was just stressed earlier,I heard a knock at the door and looked at him for approval
"I will get the door"He walked out the room and I walked behind him
"Who is it?"I heard a mumble at the door and he unlocked the door
He opened the door and my mother walked in
"Hi,Ms,Katherine" he said hugging my mother
"Hi Mother"I said walking down the stairs
