So, the dreaded day has arrived and I have to meet the girls at the mall. Towards the end of lunch, the girls told me to meet them at noon at the food court so as I walk in that's where I head.
Ew people.
I look around through the sea of packed people trying to find the three girls that got me into this mess in the first place. Finally, I see hands waving me over and follow them.
"Hey Katheryn," Marissa greets me with a big smile.
"Hey guys" I respond trying to muster as much enthusiasm possible, "so what's the plan?"
The three girls look mischievous as they get ready to explain," Well... we figured with the weather starting to change we would get some cute fall clothes, as well as finding dresses for homecoming."
Oh no... another place perfect for disaster.
"OH MY GOD IS THAT YOU KATIE!" I hear a girly screech. Oh no... nononono. I recognize that distinct high pitch whine and it can only belong to one bitch. Keep your head down Katheryn don't let them see you because these girls come two for one.
"KATIE!" and... it's too late. Man, for being in heels those two managed to catch up really quickly. Oh shit. Should I be Brentwood Katie or Katheryn? Ugh screw it. I'll just be Katie and get them to go away, God knows they won't leave me alone otherwise.
"Oh.My.God. MY GIRLS!" I screech back and give them the hugs and the European double cheek kisses that you only see in shows like Hannah Montana and Gossip Girl.
"Katie where the fuck have you been? You legit disappeared last year. Like no one had a clue where you went. And look at this hair and these clothes and makeup!" Uh oh Mari is starting to go off.
"Sweetie are you ok?" Lacey joins in on Mari's chastising.
"Ugh the maid is washing everything, so I had to use these disgusting clothes and I just figured I would make a lazy day out of it. I mean I didn't figure I'd have the pleasure of bumping into anyone." I try to spin off a lie real quick. God, I hate this so much. Was I really this horrible? Of course I was.
"God that is so annoying. I mean like it's hard to do her job. Seriously she needs to get it together. I would fire her." Mari responds with a huff, acting like the overprivileged bitch she is while Lacey nods along.
"Oh I know, I will definitely be speaking to daddy." I try to respond like Katie would. Really Kat? Wow this is embarassing...
"But what happened to your blonde?" Lacey asks still ditsy as ever
"Oh, I just wanted a change," I respond with a shrug. PLEASE JUST GO AWAY ALREADY!!!
"Hmmm. I'd go back if I were you. You look much paler." Lacey replies like I had asked her opinion which quite frankly I don't give a shit about.
"Well, girls as much as I would love to catch up I have an appointment right now so..." I try to get the hell out of this mess.
"Ok but Katie text us. Like soon. I need to know everything that you've been up to!" Mari tries to suck up as per usual.
"Oh definitely sweetie. Talk to you soon!" I reply and move as fast as I can while looking sane. Once we finally clear them I can finally breathe
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!" Lucy is the first to break the ice. Honestly, I don't blame her reaction. I go from being this shy nobody to a bitch in two seconds, of course she's confused.
"holy shit." Marissa reacts dragging out the words, piecing it together
"What?" Lucy and Ellie freak out while I'm pacing.
