THAT WAS THE BEST KISS I'VE EVER HAD, THE ONLY KISS I'VE EVER HAD AND IT WAS WITH MY SUPPOSED SOUL MATE.  I smiled at him, I was somewhat breathless, the kiss had to have lasted about two minutes, it was the perfect kiss.... Our lips were caressing each other's like a woman might caress her baby.

That. Was....Amazing." He smiled at me, delight in his eyes, "I'm glad that was your first kiss too." I blushed. Of course. He was reading my mind, again, "Did you like it?" He looked at me and a smile threatened to form at the corner of his lips. "Yes. I did." I grinned at him and layed my head on the window. "Unfortunately we can't get a motel tonight...we don't have time. We have to get to Arizona before tomorrow."

"Where are we now?" I sleepily replied.

"San Francisco, it'll take about six hours to get there. And since I have insomnia it will be pretty easy for me not to fall asleep on the drive. You go ahead and sleep."

"Okay."

"Vivian?"

"Hmm?"

"Nevermind...goodnight."

"Goodnight."

A little while after that I was out like a light.

                                                                             ~~6 HOURS LATER~~

I woke up to the sound of an eighteen wheeler's steamy engine, "Wha-? Alex?!" I quickly sat up, I was apparently in the backseat...I thought I was in the front seat. There was a blanket draped over me which I quickly through off to get to the door, I pushed it open and the sunlight blinded me for half a second. I looked around and saw that I was at a truck stop. Why? Maybe Alex decided to try to sleep after all, but if so, where was he?!

I walked to the diner that was across from the truck stop, maybe Alex was there. I walked in and when I did everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. I looked down at my feet, I was barefooted, and probably had a bed head too. "What are y'all looking at?!" Everyone then continued what they were doing not even noticing I was even here just a minute before. I walked up to the cash register counter and a plump lady with brown hair and a big smile greeted me.

Hi, I'm here looking for a tall man, with dark hair and g-"

She cut me off immediately, "RIght this way." She lead me to the back of the diner where I curiously followed. At the back corner by a window was Alex sitting patiently waiting for me...which was weird. How would he know I'd come here? I could've just stayed in the car until he got through. She walked me to the table he was at and nodded at Alex, smiling and walked off. "Good morning sunshine. I took the liberty of buying you a brush and your shoes our under the front seat." I looked at him confusingly, "How did y-" He cut me off once again, "Have you already forgotten?" He leaned over to my ear whispering so no one else could hear, "Wolvens have..abilities. One of them, fortunately, is the power to tell days ahead of your future." He smirked at me and pushed a plate with two waffles blanketed in syrup, and two long strips of sizzling bacon. "Best eat it before it gets cold." He was already cutting away at his pancakes and dipping them in syrup.

Well, on the bright side, he knows my favorite breakfast food. We were done with our breakfast in less than 10 minutes. I decided to go to the bathroom and when I came back Alex was already leaving a tip for the waitress. He gently grabbed my arm and walked me quickly to the BMW. "What are you doing?!" He put the vehicle in reverse and then back in drive and we drove off. He was driving at the minimum of 60. "Slow down, what's going on?!" He looked at me and then focused back on the road, "No time to explain. We have to get as far away from Phoenix as possible." I looked outside through the window. We were in Phoenix? But why did we have to get away so soon?

I want answers Alexandir!" He side-glanced at me and pulled into a parking lot of a Dairy Queen. "You want answers?! Well here you go! Anthony the third has decided to send one of his puppy dogs to come after me and you! And I can't let that happen!" He looked at me, those piercing grey-green eyes as big as Earth itself. "What are his 'puppy dogs'?" He looked into the rear view mirror and back to the road, "There people that he turned. They have no special powers like us. They're just..werewolves. Our blood is wolvens. They are trained to do every single thing that their turner tells them to do....Especially if the turner is a wolven. If they get their hands on us I'm pretty sure I know what they'll do."

I looked at him as my eyes slowly widened, "You don't mean...k-killing us, do you?" He shook his head and I sighed in relief, "Not us. Me. He will kill me for killing his mother and father and brothers and sisters, which technically are my family too, but I could care less. You, he won't dispose of, he will try to imprint on you and he will marry you and mate with you..." I shook my head painstakingly "No, no, no, no....! He can't kill you! He can't marry me! I'm your mate not his." He shook his head sadly, "It's in our family that if....if the mate of your sibling, whether it be half or full...die, then the next sibling in line will take on the mate for them....Technically since we are the only two remaining brothers of the Cult Dynasty when he kills me he will have you.." I was starting to cry. I actually started to really like Alex and now I find out he's gonna get killed and I'm going to get passed on to his brother!!

Don't let them get us. Please!" I was in tears now, I didn't want the only guy aside from my father that I ever loved to be murdered... His eyes were clouded with the elusive emotions of fear, hate, and love... "I won't let them get you. They'll have to kill me first." I crashed my lips with his once again, just out of nowhere. "I have to drive" he said into my lips, "No, not now" I said back, my fingers ran through the back of his soft and not so greasy black hair. I pulled him in closer to me and he wrapped his arms around my waist to hold me, a tear shed down my eye as we continued to kiss. I only wanted him! I didn't want his brother and I didn't want anyone else!

                                                                                    Only him.
