OUR LIPS DEPARTED MINUTES AFTER THEY COLLIDED. I honestly just didn't want it to work out that way, but it had to work out that way, Alex had told me, it was fate. He said though, sometimes fate has a turning point...and maybe just maybe I can make it to the turning point before the sign is replaced. Alex had reached the border between Arizona and Texas and he felt that it was only necessary that he stop and go by something. Of course.

He finally walked out of the store with a large smile plastered on his face, he was walking toward the car when he dropped whatever he had and he just about fell on his butt how fast he ducked to get it. As if it were going to run off; he got to the car and he turned to me, that goofy smile still taking up most of his lovely face. "I have something for you," he said sweetly. He said it so sweet that I was afraid that Mama's homemade honey wouldn't taste as good as his lips. He opened a little box in front of me and there sat two necklaces, both were heart necklaces with a silver engrossed into them, the hearts were gold and the crosses silver. Who was the second one for?

                                                                                         "Is that real g-"

"Gold. Yes. I got a great deal on it." He winked at me and fastened on his seat belt. I was steadily staring at the necklaces, until I finally decided to ask him, "Who's the second one for?" He smiled a cheeky grin and looked at me, "All in time my dear.." I nodded and I strained my ears to him say under his breath, "When I'm dead and gone" it actually broke my heart to hear him say that, and I didn't care much about the two beautiful necklaces in front of me.

Aren't you going to put it on?" I looked at him, I had forgotten all about the mere presence of the necklaces, "Um, yes, you mind?" I asked as I held up the chain and their unclasped ends to him, he smiled at me and dressed the lovely necklace on me. "The necklace itself has a title," he proclaimed to me proudly,

"Én Hvem går med liv og død, it means One Who Walks With Life and Death in Danish."

I nodded and looked at him clueless as to what that was even supposed to portray for me when I am not even walking with life of death.. "Don't fret about it, you'll know soon enough." He smirked at me and we drove off. We were now in Texas, this was a bit exciting for me, Texas was only a state over from Louisiana and when we got to Louisiana I will finally get my father back. Then I just all of a sudden stopped to think. If I bring Daddy back that will only make complications and questions. Mama still loves Daddy but she also loves Richii, she had two kids with Richii and one kid with Daddy, if she sees him, it will just be conflict with herself. I can't do that to her. I was thinking too much, I know, but I'm about to see my father for the first time in six years and I've never been more nervous because the man holding my father captive is the guy I've now fallen for's brother who wants to marry me...talk about complex.

We stopped at a motel and enrolled in for a room. We were kind of comfortable with sleeping in a one bedroom considering we were both mates. When we got to our room there was a man in our room already. Talk about good room service. I knew about three minutes later though that the guy wasn't room service because Alex was scowling at him, "Fare ((F-Ahr))...what are you doing here?" The man who now had a name, Fare, turned on the lamp next to him, "Alex! Now is that any way to treat your brother's favorite werewolf?" I switched my gaze from Fare to Alex, Alex was completely red, I'd never seen him look so angry and try to be so calm. "Fare, leave. Now." Fare was now up and trailing his fingernail across the wall making some of the paint peel off. "I believe you haven't introduced someone in the room.."

The man said looking at me. He smiled and walked toward me, He lifted my hand and kissed it gently. "M'lady, it is an honor to meet you...My name is General Fare Mange ((M-Ohn-G)) I am your future husband's favorite apprentice." He still had my hands in his kindly looking into my eyes, he didn't seem like such a bad guy. "More like puppy dog." Alex huffed angrily, Gen. Fare glared at him and retrieved himself back to me. "Now dear darling, my lovely friend has sent me here all the way to the wonderful state of Texas to retrieve you and take you to him, so he may make you a betrothed woman." He said it so earnestly that it didn't seem like such a bad idea to go with him after all. What could it hurt?

That's what he does. He's a sweetener, one of my brother's favorites only because he can convince ANYONE to do ANYTHING, don't give into him, that's what he wants. Now, just distract him while I try and figure out a way to knock him out. Alex was kything with me again, and once again for the purpose of making someone unconscious, either permanently or temporarily. I smiled at Gen. Fare warmly and made myself act as if I was in some kind of love sick trance. Honestly, it wasn't unbelievable that General Fare was a sweetener. He had sweet features. He had thick light golden brown hair that went in curls around his head and he had big doe grey eyes that you can tell used to be blue before he was turned. He was much taller than me, near a foot taller, and he was French, so obviously a charmer. Also he had Danish features about him, so I suppose he was Danish and French. "When shall we leave?" I asked him sounding anxious. "We can leave right now if you prefer, I'll just give a call t-" I'd already blocked him out after the word 'to' Alex had decided to use the lamp and he was slowly creeping up on Gen. Fare and then, VISHK! he crashed the lamp with Gen. Fare's head.

General Fare fell to the ground but not before trowing a silver knife at Alex's knee. Alex fell to the ground as well as clutching his knee, he slowly regained himself and got up limping over toward me General Fare Mange was out like a light, literally. Blood was leaking out of the back of his head and pieces of the glass from the lamp were nestled in his now blood-stained curls that were once so golden-brown. The lamp itself was shattered, pieces were everywhere, once again, like shattered blood..

"I knew that wouldn't have been the last time..." I said slowly.

"I told you you wouldn't like my story," he said smirking.

"This isn't your story anymore, this is ours..."
