THEY HAD BEEN WAITING FOR HIM, WAITING FOR HIM LIKE A DOG MAY WAIT FOR HIS TREAT. Alex was their not so sweet treat though, there were six Warphines, Tucker, Ryder, Kale, Rhode, Ripper, and Rio. Alex had managed to change form quickly and fight off Tucker, Ryder, and Kale. Rhode was quick and steady and had almost killed Alex before he was sliced open quickly by the claws of my animalistic mate. Ripper and Rio, brothers, managed to get away. "Ripper and Rio were born in 1914 at a cottage in Massachusetts. They were born exactly two minutes apart. Ripper's real name is Richard Alppor Constela and Rio's is Ronaldo Linebra Constela. They are both of Spanish descent and almost died in the Massachusetts Massacre at the age of 14. They have stuck by each other's side since the day they were born.

Their mother died when they were just 12 years young and they never knew their father because he was just another military man who their mother happened to only have a brief encounter with. Unfortunately, the brief encounter resulted in our two bad boys here. Ripper is very skilled on his feet he can move at any pace and not make a single foot print while he can also rip someone in half just by slashing them with his claws or by ripping them apart with his teeth, henceforth comes the name, Ripper. Rio himself isn't as bad as his bloodly brethren, he can manage to run as fast as lightning can travel and he happens to be excellent at distracting people with his witty ways."

He tossed two pictures on the bed where I got up from my rocking chair to go see, they were two fairly handsome men. Rio had dark brown hair and brownish-green eyes, and Ripper had light brown hair and blue eyes, appearing a little less Spanish. "They're freternal and Rio is two inches taller than Ripper." I looked up at Alex, "How do you know all of this about them?"

"Dear, how many times must you forget that I can kythe therefore meaning I also have telepathy, the ability to read and travel through peoples' minds."

"That explains that but how'd you get the pictures?"

"While you were listening to me tell you about them I managed to pull up some pictures of them from the computer. They were somewhat big in history as big mischief makers, you know."

"How are they still living?"

"Well, my oh so lovely brother happened to chance upon them while they were dying of yellow fever in 1949. He told them he could make them well and much much more on one condition. As naturally anyone would do at a time when their most in need, they agreed, and he turned them later that hot day. They were healed, but also cursed. Every good doing has a price to pay...so now they work as another one of my brother's puppy dogs."

I had so many questions, and yet, I chose not to ask them, I don't know why I chose not to ask him of how he randomly chanced upon them, or how he didn't get yellow fever, or how they even change form if their not werewolves by blood.  He smiled at me, darn it, why does the boy always have to read my mind?! "It's easier to kill a non blood werewolf, I mean for instance, me, it would be very difficult to kill me, you will only be able to kill me with silver or fire, and as for the turned puppies, you can easily just kill them by snapping their necks."

"How reassuring."

He chuckled and then grabbed my arm, "We have to go, the other Warphines will be here very soon." He was now leading me down the stairs and to the main office, "Hello!" There was a dark skinned woman with dark long hair in a braid and her eyes were as dark as the beads that she hung around her neck. Native American, I believe. "You did not have a good stay?"

"Unfortunately, Miss, we did not."

She just held her head down and nodded as we gave her the keys and left out the double doors. We got into the stolen BMW we had attained days earlier and drove on. "Where are we going now?" I asked, he barely glanced my way and smiled. "Well I have a friend. You'll see."
