/Tonys POV/
"Todays the day! Woah! Come on guys get up!" I chant, slapping my hands on the sides of the guys bunks. Groans and mumbled curses are given but they all start to get up. Mike and Jaime head to the front in search of food while Vic hangs back to take a shower.
"Tony calm down, we cant leave till 11:30 anyway and its only," Vic pauses to look down at his phone," 10 o clock! Oh my god, im going back to bed!" he groand then starts to roll back in his bed. I grab the back of his shirt and pull him back towards me.
"Oh no you dont. You go back to bed, you wont wake up till New Years. Get up now and shower. Then we can be lazy till we have to leave. " He groans up at me but sighs. He stands and brushes past me to the bathroom, mumbling something about happy turtles befote slamming the door and turning the shower on. I just smile and turn to walk to the front. As I walk in, I catch drift of Jaime and Mikes conversation.
"Oh god, Tonys a dad!" Mike says, pressing the heels of his hands in his eyes.
"What are we gonna do with a 15 year old girl on the bus? This is gonna ruin his life, not to mention his relationship with Erin. Hows he gonna take care of some bratty teenager?" Jaime asks nobody in particular, leaning back in his seat and sipping his coffee.
"Thanks for the support guys, means a lot." I speak up. They both turn to me, shock and regret on their faces.
"Tony we didnt-" "Save it, I dont wanna hear your bull." I cut him off, walking past him to the door of the bus.
"Where are you going?" Mike asks.
I pause before stepping off the bus. Without looking at them, I say," Going to get my kid."
//30 minuets later//
It took about half a hour to get to the Home Delilah was at. The whole bus ride there I couldnt keep still. I kept bouncing my leg and tapping my fingers and bobbing my head to the music playing through the bus speakers. A woman even asked me to stop bouncing my leg because the sound was annoying her. I just glared at her and continued even harder and louder, earning a comment about how this generation of kids is a waste and they have no respect for there elders and blah blah who cares.
When it finally stopped at the street where Mrs. Hillys home was, I hopped off and walked the last mile or so. The neighborhood looked rough for a girls Home to be in. There was trash all over the ground and graffiti covering almosy every building. Kids plaid out on the side walks barefoot and mothers yelled at them to be careful. Stray dogs appeared here and there until I finally arrivaved at Mrs.Hillys Home for Girls.
The building itself fit perfectly with the neighborhood. It looked run down and almost abondoned. A big sign was hanging out front on a pole, the actual sign hanging by chains and swinging gently in the cold Augustus air.
I walked up the steps and knocked on the old brown door. Its almost like I could feel the house moving thats how old it was. A few seconds after I knocked the door opened to reveal a girl, about 18 or so, with long blonde hair and way to short of a skirt. Shes got big blue eyes and is wearing a tanktop. How shes not freezing her butt off is beyond me. Im dressed in a black winter coat and black skinny jeans with a thin pair of leggings underneath.
"Hi, Im Melissa," she said, leaning against the doorframe and looking up at me like she expects me to throw myself at her.
"Umm hi? Im Tony Perry, I came here for my daughter Delilah." I tell the girl. How is she not freezing in that skirt? Melissa just rolls her eyes and relaxs, pushing off the frame and putting her hands on her hips.
"Oh your crazy girls dad huh?" she says like she disappointed. Crazy girl?
"Crazy girl?" I ask aloud.
