A/N: Hello my pretties. Im so sorry for disappearing on you guys. I went through a moarning because of the lose of my last chapter. I guess you could say I was in denial about the whole thing because id open up the story and then close out again without even adding anything. I finally decided to stop denying my work and finish this chapter for you guys(yeah, you better love me for this). Oh well, I know this is completely different from the original for those of you who did get a chance to read the last one before I stupidly deleted every copy known to Wattpad kind. Thats cause I just felt like this one was better in a way then the first. I hope you have a good day (or night if your reading this when I update) and dont forget to comment what you think and check out my other two stories.
*SPOILER*
There will be a sequel coming out for this story, 'Im the daughter...of Tony Perry?!?!' somewhat soon. So, if in the next few chapters I say "THIS IS THE END" in a A/N, dont panic. There will be more I promise. Enjoy;)/Tonys POV/
"Oh god, what if, what if she goes into a coma or wakes up and doesnt remember who we are or they cant fix her,"
"Tony! Stop it!" Mike yells at me from his spot in the chair. I glare down at him and hiss," What if it was your kid in there huh? Youd be freaking out too!" Mike just stares blankly into space before closing his eyes and sighing, relaxing into his seat to lean his headback on the windowsill.
Moments later a tall, light brown haired doctor comes from Delilahs room wearing a long white coat and a silver clipboard in his right hand. He also has a long scar running from the tip of his right eye to his top lip, spliting his lip in half to reveal a white shiny front tooth. A clip ID was hanging from the collar of his coat that read 'Dr. Ashton'. He was smiling at me and as he walked up.
"Well good news, shes doing very well. She should awake any moment now," I took off before he could finish, manuvering around the doc to get to her room. It all happened in slow motion, me pulling a unbelievable football move to get around him and then pushing into the door to force it open. All I could think was Delilah. Delilah. Delilah.
"Delilah," I heard myself breathe but weakly, almost brokenly. Which was completely understandable self.
Because the sight in front of me was enough to break me.
They had her laying in a almost glowing white hospital gown underneath 3 layers if blankets. Stitches covered her bottom lip and a breathing tube ran up behind her ears, reconnecting at her nose. Her chest rose and fell almost robotic like, as though she was being forced to breathe. Her hair was scattered on her pillow, making her look like she was really just sleeping and not unconcious. I let out a inhuman cry, too throaty and deep to even be considered animal, and stumbled to her bedside.
I fell to my knees and grabbed her small cold hand. Her hands were always so cold, ive never known why. It was so much smaller than mine, more delicate and clean, not covered in calusises and tattoos. Her skin was just like mine, not too tan but not too pale either. The hair on her arm was a light brown and very fine, like a new born babys hair. I sigh, feeling the tears stream down my cheeks and drip into the bed blankets.
"Im sorry we didnt help her." a voice spoke from behind me.
I turned my head and looked back at the door to see Vic, Jaime, and Mike cluttered in the doorway, shame and sadness writeen on their faces like it was engraved with a knife. I shake my hesd no and say,"It isnt your duty to be responsible for her. It was my fault, I should have helped her but I was just...to shocked to do anything." I mumble the last bit under my breathe as I look back at my sleeping daughter. "Were supposed to be her uncles Tone. Family. And family protects family. We are as much to blame as you think you are." Mike speaks up while the others nod in agreement at his statement. Its true, I meant for them to be her uncles. For them to love her like I do. Protect her like im supposed to.
