Chapter Six

~Brennen's P.O.V~

I admired him as he ate. He just seemed to do it in such a graceful way. How could one person be so amazing? Fuck. I think I like him. I can't like him he's my best friend. I'm not about to loose that with him, I can't loose that with him. "What?" He questioned and I came back to reality. "Oh nothing just waiting for you to be done" I said, trying to sound as unimpressed as possible. Was I staring before? Quickly finishing his sandwich he added "How about we watch a movie or something?"
We both decided to watch The Dark Knight, and to add to the fun, play it's designated drinking game. The rules seemed to be designed to get you as drunk as quick as possible. Any tension we had faded with every drink. Soon we were loudly pointing out when to drink. "A FACE CARD" I yelled, Colby laughed and we both took a drink. He seems so comfortable is it possible that this is mutual?? Brennen stop it. I knew I needed to stop but couldn't. The next word dropped "BATMAN!!" We seemed to scream at the same time, looking at each other and laughing. I don't know how but my lips were suddenly on his, only for a second before he pulled away. I looked up to see Colby hurrying out the door. "Wait. Colby!" I raised my voice a little but it was no use. The door closed. He was gone.

I began to panic. "What did you just do!!" I screamed at myself feeling tears well up. "Why would you do that?!" I asked with more disappointment. After I calmed down, I took out my phone to text him:

B:Colby I'm sorry
Delivered 3:01 PM

B: bro please, we were drinking and I don't know what I was thinking.
Delivered 3:08 PM

B:Please text me back
Delivered 3:10 PM

B:I'm so sorry
Delivered 3:11 PM
