Chapter Three

                  ~Colby's P.O.V~

I couldn't fall asleep and I knew it was because I couldn't help my best friend. Something was obviously wrong, why didn't he just talk to me? I decided to text him:

C: "you up?"
Delivered 1:53 AM

C:" Are you good bro something seemed wrong"
Delivered 2:11 AM

                 ~Brennen's P.O.V~

I woke up pretty early and decided to go to the gym. I check my phone before leaving noticing two texts from Colby. I read them with urgency knowing that Colby never texts me that late at night. Opening them I was taken back not knowing what to say. Am I okay?
"yeah bro heading to the gym, want to hang out later?" I typed and sent the message.
On the way to the gym I thought of possible things to do with Colby. As I pulled in i settled on going to Tender Greens. I did my usual workout and headed home to get ready. I called Colby after my shower to tell him I'd pick him up soon.

                  ~Colby's P.O.V~

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, it was Brennen. He told me we were going to Tender Greens for lunch and wondered what time it was. 11:00 AM. The call ended and I got out of bed trying to wipe the sleep from my eyes. Showers always wake me up, so I decided to take one before making my way to the living room to wait for Brennen. He pulled up and I got into his truck. I saw his vlog camera as he greeted me.
"HEY look it's my boyfriend, whats up?!" He said excited
"whats up bro" I replied shyly
We "bro hugged" and pulled out of the driveway closing the gate behind us. We began to drive not saying much and I noticed Brennen had put his camera away. I switched on some music to fill the silence. The time seemed to pass quickly and before I knew it we were pulling up to the restaurant. We made our way inside and sat down, ordering our food and just talking. I began to notice that Brennen wasn't really paying attention to what I was saying.  "You good?"
"huh? Yeah I'm great"
As he said it a smile crept onto his face. I don't really know why but that made me blush. Our food came and we discussed the plans for after lunch. Brennen wanted to film for his vlog and I decided to tag along. We did usual things like walking around The Grove and visiting Brennen's family. After Brennen was satisfied with his footage, we went back to his house.  We awkwardly sat on his couch and  watched whatever was on tv, until I decided it was time to leave. "You mind taking me back home?" I said. He nodded with a smile.
