"This would be a lot easier for you if you just kept quiet," Gina grumbled. I violently shook, kicking her hard in the shin. Yelping in pain, she reached over and sailed a hit to my back. "Keep still."
Going against her request, I cried out in the hopes that someone heard me.
"This is kidnapping," I hissed. I wasn't sure where we were going. I did know we were in Rebecca's car. It was covered in cat hair and half-empty Diet Coke bottles. In my room, I tried to fight them off to the best of my ability. But I was outnumbered.
Bound by my wrists and legs, I fought against the tight knots. They were pretty solidly wrapped on me, proving I couldn't shim out of this easily. Dunya was behind me, wiggling in the boot of the car. She was also tied up.
Every now and then, I'd kick extremely hard against Gina's seat and cause her to shout in response.
They put duck tap on Dunya's mouth. She screamed a lot, resorting to them retapping her shut, but now with something lodged between her jaws, muffling the noise entirely. She still had her nostrils open, free from any obstruction, and allowing air to come in.
"I'm not sure what Rebecca told you," I said, "or how she convinced you into doing this, but can't you see how wrong this is? What happened to sisterhood?"
"We should've put tape on your mouth, too," Ellie, the one driving the car, said in a bitter voice. "You're a fucking skank. Sisterhood shouldn't be wasted on sluts like you."
"I never kissed Noah. I never touched him."
"Yes, you did." Gina snapped. "You slept with him behind her back. Rebecca told us everything. Your little sweet girl act isn't going to work on us. You're no saint."
Was that what Rebecca was telling all the girls? That I had sex with her gross boyfriend? I was close to throwing up at the thought.
"She told you lies," I snickered. "I never even gave him my number. Why would I give my virginity to a guy that I refused to go on a date with!? Rebecca is making this all up. You have to believe me."
"It's your word against her."
"Yeah, but I should fucking know who I've had sex with. She doesn't know shit about what I've done with who. And so far, it's zero in the male department."
I'd done more with girls, but that wasn't something they needed to know. Especially not in this moment when my life was in jeopardy. I wanted to know where we were going. I wasn't stupid enough to waste my breath in asking them.
