"A couple of weeks passed since he was no longer here...I didn't even care that those assholes bullied me anymore, every single time I felt fear rise I was hoping to see Cole come and scare these rats away, but it never happened, so I stopped caring when he didn't. Guilt has started to consume me, and sadness is all I know about now, my hometown now is in the dark. I want to cry and sleep, but someday I just want to sleep and never wake up. I didn't know what was wrong or why he did it, he never said anything about feeling sad, he always looked happy. He was always helping others and that made him happy! What could've gone wrong?!" Tyler laid down in his bed, looking at the dull white ceiling, he was thinking about a lot of stuff but at the same time he wasn't thinking of anything, his door was always locked, but his mom pleaded him to always leave everything opened. Tyler's phone rang, he didn't pick up at first, when he checked that it was an incoming call from Scarlett he immediately answered. "Hey Scar, how are you feeling? What's the matter?" she sighed and took a long pause "Hey Ty, I'm doing ok... I just called because I was searching Cole's bedroom and I think you left your ukulele here, want to pick it up?" "Yeah, can I come over now? I'm not doing anything" "yeah sure, see you later" and they both hung up. Tyler went and changed into some casual clothes, a grey T-shirt, black skinny jeans and black vans, and put one some black bracelets...He headed towards his light blue greyish car and took a 15 minute drive to her house. He rang the doorbell and waited. "Hey Ty, come on in, take a seat" He took a seat on the black leather couch, it was kinda old but still very comfy. "So here's your uke..." She paused for a bit looking at Tyler that now had his ukulele back. "I remember when you guys were talking about starting a band, and how you never actually made any songs, but he would make up a really cool beat and you would follow with your uke." she sighed. "Yeah, those were some great times, your mom would stand in the door frame and watch us, she always was so happy and proud of us. She would bring up some food and lemonade if we got hungry." There was a really awkward silence and Tyler got up. "Well...um, I think I should get going, thanks for calling me, Scar, I haven't seen your mom, so please tell her I said hi, and I'll be visiting some other day." "Okay, I will, stay safe, Ty." as she closed the door and Tyler got in his car and drove away. He got home and went up to his room and started playing "  " on his ukulele (   ) When he noticed that his ukulele didn't sound as sharp as it used to it had a muffled sound he looked at the sound holes and turned it upside down, and there was something inside of it when he shook it. He got a flashlight and took a look. It was a piece of paper, he turned his ukulele upside down again and tried reaching for the piece of paper, trying not to hurt the strings. He finally got a hold of it. It was Cole's suicide not. "What the..." he started to question himself and Cole "Why? Why me?! Why leave the note with me? What does this mean?!" He read the note from start to finish, over and over again, and every time it only got worst. He was in a fetus position on the ground, crying and yelling, holding the note near his heart. Madison and his mom came running to his room, the knelt down to him trying to sit him up. "GO AWAY!" he yelled pushing them away. "Sweety, what's the matter? Did someone hurt you?" she looked over to her daughter with the most worried eyes. "TyJo? Hey buddy, what going on? We all care and worry about you, I love you so much, just, please, tell us what's wrong." Madison said patting his back. "I-It's, It's C-Cole, Cole's suicide n-note" as he continued to bawl out his heart. "Oh no...they found it?" "N-no...I found it, he left it inside my ukulele" he sank his face in his mom shoulder. "Tyler, do you wanna talk about it?" his mom said holding her vulnerable son. "No mom, I just want to be left alone." They both walked out of his room, they looked at him with a broken heart before closing his door completely.

It was midnight and Tyler carefully headed downstairs to the basement, on tiptoes trying to make the lease amount of noise. Once the door was shut his parents wouldn't be able to hear the noise he would start to make. Tyler had been working on a new song that again was dedicated to Cole. He began playing on his keyboard. "I wont take much of your time, I just want you to see what I have made inside these line, it's as good as I can be...It's as good as I can be, this all I can be..." he paused walking a small distance from his keyboard and continued singing "Head tilted down, knees on the ground..." he sang this verse while doing as the verse said. He knelt onto the floor, with his head facing to ground. "I will ask 'please' " he paused for a moment a screamed at the top of his lungs, tears running down as he squeezed his eyes shut. "SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! PLEASE SAVE...SAVE, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE ME! COLE?! PLEASE COME BACK, PLEASE SAVE ME, I'M SORRY I DIDN'T SAVE YOU!"

Tyler's parents and brothers came running down when they heard Tyler's screams, his dad tried opening the basement's door but it was locked and they didn't hear Tyler anymore. His dead wasted no time and knocked the door and everybody ran downstairs. Tyler was curled up in a ball on the floor, whispering the words "save me, save me." Everybody was surrounding him, but his mom and dad hugged him and kissed his head, trying to calm him down. Everyone headed upstairs except Tyler and his parents, they stayed in the living room discussing the whole situation.

"Mom? Dad? I'm...I'm so sorry" he said sobbing. "Please don't apologize, just promise us you won't ever lock yourself up, anywhere." He assured them with his head and a slight smile.
