Baekhyun's POV
A week passed by.
Ahhhhh!!! I was running towards my house where my friends and I will meet. And I know you are currently curious why am I running right?
Well, this past few days we were heavily bullied at school and I think it was Chanyeol's plan to make our life this week miserable. Yep. You heard it right. We were bullied but thankfully it's the end of the week.
Today is Friday!! Yes!!! I am dancing my victory dance since I escaped the minions of Chanyeol. Hahahha. Victory is mine!
After my short victory,I went inside the house and directly went to the living room. Where I sat down and put my bag on the couch. I lift my feet and put it on the table while searching for the remote.
Suddenly, I heard voices while walking towards the living room.
"Do you really care for your son?"
"Tsk. Of course not. Why will I care for him??"
"Duh, he is your son."
"Alpha, you already know it. He is really not my son. I just pick him up out of pity. I did not care for him and just gave him everything he needs. Why do you ask?"
"I am just curious as to why you are overprotective."
"Hahaha. That's funny Alpha. I took care of him just because my wife told me so."
I heard him say. My eyes start to water but I blink it away. That's why, I felt that he is just being force to take care for me. He only cares for my brother.I exhale a shaky breath. He never loved me like the way they loved my brother. I was just an extra member to their happy family.
I stood up from the sofa and started to walk to my room when I heard him say.
"Oh Baek, you are already here. How is your day?" My father asked.
"Just fine." I replied shortly and walked towards my destination.
Inside the room
I was staring blankly at a distance. Still thinking about the conversation I heard.
I just can't believe. All this time I am just adopted. I thought I was part of the family. That's why sometimes I just feel the warmth is not enough. Now, I know the reason why they took extra care to my brother. The reason why I am the odd one.
"Hey, stop thinking about that." My wolf stated with a worried tone.
"I just can't help it." I replied back while a lonely tear rolled down my cheek.
"Don't worry. After the party, we can leave the pack and find our true parents." My wolf said.
"But how about our friends?" I asked in question.
"Ask them if they like to come with us."
"Okay." I replied while he retreated at the back of my mind to rest.
I sighed to myself and started to chat with my friends.
Chat room
Baekhyuneee: Guys, I need to tell you something.
Luhan: What is it?
Kyungsoo: What?
Xiumin: Did something happened?
Tao: What is it hyung?
Suho: I have a bad feeling about these.
Baekhyunee: Well, you will be shocked by these news I will tell you.
Luhan: Just hurry up...
Kyungsoo: Say it already.
Xiumin: Don't left us hanging dude.
Tao: Hurry up already.
Suho: I think I already know it. My motherly instinct is telling me something bad.
Baekhyunee: I am just adopted......
Luhan: Oh, you are just adopted- wait WHAT!!!!
Kyungsoo: OMG. Really???
Xiumin: The fuck?!
Tao: Is it true??
Suho: WHAT!!!!
Baekhyunee: Hmmmm. Yeah. It is kinda true. I overheard their conversation. I also can't believe it like you guys. Let us just talk about it at school. I am not in the mood to talk.
Kyungsoo: Take care.
Luhan: Don't stress over yourself.
Suho: Give me a call if you need something.
Tao: Just tell me Hyung if they did something. I will wushu them.
Xiumin: Call us if you ever get lonely. Alright? We are friends right?
Baekhyun: Don't worry Hyung, I will remember your words. Goodnight Everyone.
Suho: Night. Sleep well.
Tao: Nighttt Hyung.
Kyungsoo: Night Eyeliner boy.
Xiumin: Night Bacon.
Luhan: Night my friend.
After our conversation, I put the phone beside my bed and laid down. I grab one of my blankets and snuggled into my bed. I started to drift to dreamland worrying what will happen tomorrow. Since tomorrow, I have a feeling things will get pretty bad. And that feeling is not or should I say never have been wrong.
Sorry for the late update guys. My schedule is hectic today. Don't worry, I will update mor chapters next week. Since next week is our semester break, I will have lots of time to write chapters. Also, I'm already excited to their comeback on November 2. Stay tuned for more
