DESTINED TOGETHER

Chapter 8

Baekhyun's POV

   I was sleeping soundly when I heard noise coming from my phone. I grumbled because I was disturbed in my sleep.

   I chose to sit up and yawn. Did I told you guys that I am not a morning person? Hehhe of course not. Sorry, I forgot. I stretched my body and stood up to turn off the alarm. I went to the bathroom still stretching my muscles and did my business.

After few minutes....

I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs just to smell delicious food that makes my stomach grumble. I can hear also footsteps approaching the dining room at the same time with  me.

I walked towards the room and saw my adopted family already seated at the table. I just smile lightly and took my seat quietly. I just listen to their conversation.

"Let me tell you something." My mom said while clearing her throat to make annoucement that I already know.

"We are going to the pack house to celebrate the passing of the title Alpha to his son." Mom said excitedly.

I looked towards my brother and saw his shining eyes.

"Really Mom?!?!" My brother said in a loud excited voice.

"Yes,we also need to prepare since this is an important event again in the pack." My mom told us while smiling widely.

"If that's the case, I'd expect that you two will come home early to prepare for the event. I don't like excuses." My father said.

"Okay father and mother." My brother told them with a mouth full of foods.

I, on the other hand just nodded in reply while eating my breakfast silently. When looking at them, I can see that they are really happy together. Just what if I did not come to their life, will they be more happy without me??

I just chew my food while recalling the conversation that I heard last night. My eyes drifted to my adopted father. I can see he looked happy gazing to mom and my brother. He did not even gave me a second glance.

Now, I'm really sure that they really are not my parents because who the fuck will not give a damn about their child?? Tsk. Of course the ones who are force. Moving on. Oh, I almost forgot. Today is also my birthday and they forgot. Oh well. That's a good sign.

I looked at my watch and saw it's already time to go school.

" I need to go already." I told them while wiping my lips with the table napkin to get rid of the sauce.

"Oh that early?" Mom asked while putting extra food on my brother's plate.

"Yeah." I replied while slinging my bag on my shoulders and going out the house without a second glance.

~AT SCHOOL~

I went inside my classroom in hopes to see my friends to tell them my plan.

I looked around just to see them at the back reading books. I walked towards them and pulled one chair near Kyungsoo.

"Soooo, guys about last night."

"We need to hear all the details."

"Even the small ones."

So, I proceed to tell them what happened last night and the conversation I heard.

After the story, I can see their  reactions. Well, they are all shocked. I can see Kyungsoo's eyes gets even bigger.

I almost burst out laughing because of their reactions. Their facial expression is funny to see. Hope to see them more in the future.

"So guys, what will happen now?" Tao asked.

"We need to celebrate Baekhyun's birthday!" Xiumin said excitedly.

"Yup, we need to celebrate it!" Luhan exclaimed.

"But guys, did you forgot something?" Suho asked while sighing.

I can see their confused face when Suho asked. Aish. Did they already forget it? They only remembered my birthday. That touched my heart.

"We need to prepare for the party. Baekhyun already said that we need to prepare the pack house for the celebration." Suho said reminding them with a pout face.

"Ewww, Hyung. Okay. Just stop pouting. You look ugly." Kyungsoo said while wearing his mischievous face.
Suho turned his head and looked at him with piercing eyes.

"You! Come here." Suho said out loud while chasing Kyungsoo who was laughing madly.

We also laugh beause of the two. They looked like kids chasing around. Suddenly, we saw Kyungsoo almost bump into Jongin. But luckily he avoided him quickly.

We quickly sat down to our respective chairs and can see that my classmates suddenly went silent when  Chanyeol's gang appeared.

I can see their smug faces when they saw our reaction towards them. I just rolled my eyes in my head.

I can feel the tension in the air already. But luckily, the teacher appeared early.

"Byun Baekhyun, Do Kyungsoo, Kim Mimseok, Kim Junmyeon, Xi Lu Han, and Huang Zi Tao, please proceed to the principal's office."

We nodded in agreement and started to gather our things so we can go out immediately to the principal's office.
