Chapter 15

(Back at the pack house)

Chanyeol's POV

I was confused with my mother's reaction. She even sided with that loser. I frowned making Dara wrapped her arms around me.

"Babe, don't worry about Mom. She's just shock." Dara told me while making her cute face.

It made me smile a little bit.

What the fuck Chanyeol? Why did you reject our mate? Our mate is the cutest. My wolf glared at the back of my mind.

Why are you siding with that loser? He cannot help us in leading the pack. I know in the future, Dara can help us. I explained to my wolf but he just huffed in anger and retreated at the back of my mind.

Someday, you will regret this. Mark my words, you filthy human.

I furrowed my brows in confusion why is my wolf acting like that.

I was broken in my trance when the music suddenly stop. I saw my Mom on the stage, holding the microphone on her hand.

"Celebration is over." She told the crowd.

The crowd is having mixed emotions. Some are having confused faces and some are complaining.

I strode to the stage with Dara to ask Mom what is wrong.

"Mom, what's wrong? Why is the party over this early?" I asked confusion written on my face.

She just looked at me blankly and did not utter a single word. She walked off the stage and whispered something to the pack guards.

I was hurt when my mom ignored me. Is she cannot get over that I rejected Baekhyun?

Baekhyun is useless. He's very fragile. He cannot even handle small things and what? He will lead the pack? Ha that's a funny thought.

I sighs in frustration. I won't regret the decision I made....

"Chanyeollie, I'm tired. My feet are aching because of standing." Dara complained with a pout on her face. She grabs my arm and lightly punching it to gain my attention.

I chuckled because of her ways to gain my attention.

"Okay Babe, let's go to our room already." I stated while carrying her bridal style.

I can hear wolf whistles from the crowd. I just smirk in satisfaction because I'm together with Dara.

Third POV

Unknown to Chanyeol, someone is glaring daggers at them.

It was the Luna of the pack. She walked towards his husband.

Her husband can feel the murderuos vibe of his wife. He gulped nervously.

"We need to talk right now." She said devoid of any emotions.

The alpha nodded his head in fear  of angering his wife more.

" Chanyeol, you disappointed us today." He thought while looking at his wife's back with pain in his eyes. Because he knows, it will not be long, his son will be the one who will be chasing his mate again.
