Chapter 11

Baekhyun POV

We were almost to the door when something stopped us from doing so.

We saw our parents talking to each other. They seems to be discussing something so seriously.

I looked at them for a second before looking at my friends.

I saw their confuse faces watching their parents converse to others.

"So will we continue going or eavesdrop?" Luhan asked us in our minds.

"How about no?" Kyungsoo said hopefully.

"Where is the fun there if we don't try?" I said mischievously.

"Uh oh. Baekhyun is thinking something ridiculous again. I thought you are sick." Xiumin said.

Suho just glance at me checking if I am not sick anymore.

"I'm not anymore! I feel better actually. But it's just my wolf, he seems sad though. I tried asking him but he don't want to answer." I sigh to myself as I told them.

"Okay. Let's go." Suho stated smiling to himself.

"We will do it?!" Tao said in disbelief.

"I thought you will disagree!" Kyungsoo exclaimed.

"You don't like to get in trouble right?" Xiumin questioned ruffling his own hair frustrated with Suho's desicion.

"Hmmmm. Yeah but we are still young. I wanted to do the don'ts for our life spice up a little bit." Suho explained to us.

I gave him a thumbs up agreeing with his desicion.

"Think about it guys. We are almost an adult. And we should be responsible. But can we just go wild just this once? Like not following your parents." I told them making them think over my statemet.

I saw them nod after a minute of thinking about my statement.

"Okay, let's us do this."

We were almost there when we were stopped again. But this one. We don't really expect it.

In front of us, we saw Chanyeol's gang standing staring us down. Their eyes looked at us like they were mocking us.

We were frozen on our spots. My palms started to became sweaty from my nervous.

Chanyeol suddenly smirked seeing my nervousness.

His mom suddenly walked towards the stage to announce something.

"We would like everyone to know that it is time for our old alpha to step down and our new alpha,our son, to step up as the new leader. A round of applause for Chanyeol." Mrs. Park said proudly.

I can hear people around us clapping. Happy to see a new generation will take over the pack.

"Chanyeol, please come up to the stage to say your speech."

Before Chanyeol went to the stage, he send me a smile not a smile showing off his white perfect teeth. That makes me nervous just seeing it.

His gang kept on looking at us with that weird gaze of theirs which we don't understand.

"I just wanted you all to know, I met my mate long ago." Chanyeol started.

Gasps surrounds among the crowds.

"It's a he and I just wanted him to know only Sandara will be the Luna of the pack."

Suddenly I can hear the clock strike twelve midnight, meaning it's already been my birthday.

Worse of all, Chanyeol just announce he did not want me.

I felt a tear stream down on my cheek not believing what I am hearing right now. I felt so humiliated. I heard my wolf whimpering right now.

So this is what my gut is saying to me.
