Chapter 2.- Aaron's Problem

Aaron was sat in Starbucks looking into his empty coffee cup. He picked up his phone and texted Lucy.

Lucy had just come in from a jog with Gracie when she noticed her Phone buzz.

Text from Aaron

"Hey Lucy fancy calling over to mine I need some female insight on something"

Lucy frowned.

"Sure I've just come in from a jog you ok?"

"I will explain when you get here"

"Ok give me an hour and I will be there".

Lucy had a quick shower then went down to Zak's Dungeon to find him.

Zak? Baby you down here?

Zak slammed a big file shut and headed her off.

What you up to? Lucy asked.

Nothing just chilling.

Ok I'm off out for a bit.

Where you going?

Aaron's he needs female insight on something. So I will leave you to whatever you are up to...

Lucy smiled and kissed him. He should know by now she knew him like the back of her hand.

I'm not up to anything!

Sure your not! She said sarcastically going back up the stairs.

Lucy drove to Aaron's she was driving at a normal pace when suddenly she was cut up by a black car. She slammed on the break.

Fuck! She shouted as the car pulled in front of her.

Fucking Dick! She shouted out her window as she waited for a gap in the traffic and overtook again and sped off.

Lucy arrived at Aaron's.

Hey Bro!

Am I glad to see you. I really need to talk to someone. I'm going insane.

Aaron slow down how about I make us a coffee and we can talk. Lucy said as she pulled her boots off and left them at the door.

They where both sat on the sofa in his front room drinking their coffee Lucy had her feet up on his lap.

What's wrong Aaron? I've never seen you this flustered not even during a lockdown.

I've kind of met someone Lucy.

Really Aaron? That's awesome!

I know it's just I'm freaking out I haven't felt this way since my wife and we all know what happend there.

Lucy nodded and remembered that Aaron's first wife left him because she couldn't understand what he did for a living and she couldn't stand all the traveling he did.

But Dude who's to say that will happen again? You deserve to be happy. Go for it!

Maybe I should I feel amazing when I speak to her and look into those Chocolate brown eyes...

Yes! That's exactly it.

Oh boy you got it bad that's how I feel when I look into Zak's eyes. Lucy giggled. So who is this lucky girl? Do we know her? Lucy playfully tapped his thigh with her foot.

That's another thing I'm worried about Lucy.

What?

She's a fan. It's Ashton I swapped numbers with her before we left the park.

Oh Honey she's sweet you two would be adorable together. And so what she's a fan big deal if you like her what's stopping you,

Lucy I haven't actually asked her out properly yet I'm so nervous.

I have an idea! Lucy smiled at Aaron.

Zak's phone started ringing. He was sat in Nicks.

Hey baby how's Aaron.

He's fine listen how do you fancy double dating tonight. Yeah that sounds cool I'm with Nick and V now I will ask them.

Oh well make that a triple date then.

What? Hold on. Hey you two Zak whispered to Nick and Veronique.

Aaron has a girlfriend!

Lucy filled Zak in and they decided to meet up at the Laser tag place. Aaron took his own car and picked up Ashton he was over the moon when she agreed to the date.

They played 2 games the first game they devided into 3 teams, Nick and V, Zak and Lucy, Aaron and Ashton.

Halfway through the scores where pretty close so Nick resorted to playing at little dirty he grabbed Lucy and started using her as a shield.

Let the lady go and we will talk about this. Zak said.

Drop the gun and we can talk. Nick laughed

Zak heard someone running up on his left he fired his laser gun.

Oh damn it that was my last life! V shouted.

It would appear we have a stand off. Nick continued.

Lucy just rolled her eyes and thought I'm related to this big kid. And getting married to the other.

Suddenly she felt Nicks vest vibrate against her, then her own and Zak looked up he had lost a life too. While they where messing about Aaron and Ashton had shot them from the balcony above.

And that is how it's done! Aaron shouted. He then turned and put his arm around Ashton.

Halfway through the second game it was girls Vs boys. However they soon realised they where down a member each Aaron had taken Ashton off to a quiet corner Zak and Lucy noticed them making out and decided to leave them to it.

At the end of the night they where leaving when Zak's phone received a text. And then so did Lucy's Nicks and Aaron's.
