Blinded Love (A RaphShimmer Love Story)

Meanwhile, a young woman was sitting on a train to New York City. She had Amber skin, fiery red and yellow hair, and cyan eyes. She wore a bright blue and yellow blouse, a black leather jacket, light blue pants, and black high heeled boots. She was Sunset Shimmer, former unicorn and student of Princess Celestia.

Months prior, she and her friends had graduated from Canterlot High School. They'd gone their separate ways, but promised to keep in touch. With her done with high school, Sunset wondered what to do with her life next. She was even debating whether to stay and maybe go to college, that is, if she could afford it, or go home to Equestria. She wanted to make up for lost time with her younger brother Garrett. But, she heard word that dark Equestrian Magic was running amuck in New York. And thus, Sunset was on the train to New York in order to investigate this mystery. This would be her first investigation on her own. She looked at a photo with her and her friends, and sighed. "I miss you girls," said Sunset as she stroked the photo.

Soon, the train stopped at the New York subway. She got off the train. "So this is New York," thought Sunset as she looked around the city, "what a view... Maybe I'll check in to a hotel and write to Princess Twilight..." She looked around New York, looking for a hotel. She had her briefcase with her. It was now nighttime. Suddenly, three thugs were catcalling Sunset. At first, Sunset tried to ignore these jerks. But they kept on following her, being obnoxious. Having lost her patience, Sunset turned around and said, "Alright, knock it off!" The first thug smirked and said, "Well look what we got here, a little spitfire."

"A beaut and a fighter, I like that!" said the second thug. "Wanna come with us and have a good time?" the third thug offered in a smug manner, his friends chuckling. "Nice as that offer sounds..." Sunset sarcastically said, "I'm gonna pass... besides, I hardly know you all..." Sunset wasn't usually sarcastic, but she didn't like these thugs. They gave off a bad vibe that made her feel uncomfortable. The first thug forcefully grabbed her arm and said, "You don't get to say no, bacon hair. Make this easier on yourself, and you might have some fun." Sunset elbowed him in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. Once she saw he was distracted, Sunset ran as fast as she could, all while carrying her luggage at the same time.

Meanwhile on the rooftops of New York, the Turtles were out on their nightly patrol. Leonardo lead them, while the others followed him. Raphael was last in line. He was able to tell where his brothers were going, so the likelihood of him getting lost was low. "Everything seems to be quiet tonight," observed Donatello. "Looks like it," said Leo, "okay team, we can rest for now." They took a break on top of one rooftop. "Man, I could go for some pizza," said Michelangelo.

Meanwhile, Sunset was still running, being chased by the three thugs that had been harassing her. She went to one building, but much to her dismay, found there was a dead end. She turned around, only to find the three thugs were there. She was cornered. "I'm trapped like a rat," thought Sunset as the leader took out his switchblade, smiling evilly. "I'm gonna enjoy seeing what's underneath that blouse," he said. The second thug held back her right arm, and the third thug held back her left arm. "Please..." Sunset tried to reason, "you don't have to do this..." Her reasoning fell on deaf ears. The leader began to cut her blouse, and in a moment of desperation, Sunset cried out, "HELP!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE, HELP ME!!!!" 

 The Turtles could hear her screams as Mikey said, "Whoop, we got a damsel in distress!" Raph stood up and said, "Don't worry guys, I got this!" Before Leo could protest, Raph was gone. He sighed, "I hate it when he does that." The thugs were ready to rip Sunset's blouse open, when Raphael then landed on the ground, saying, "Hey jerks! When a woman says no, she means it!" The air headed thugs let go of Sunset, ready to attack him. "Let's see," thought Raph, "there are four heartbeats, three of them are obviously the thugs. I can tell they're guys by their stench... Time to teach them a lesson."

"You're gonna bleed, freak!" threatened the first thug. Raph smirked and said, "Yeah, I can bleed. But so can you!" The first thug tried to punch Raph, but Raph dodged his attack because he could hear his fist raising up. He kicked the thug back. The second one grabbed his pocketknife, but Raph took it away with his sais. The third one tried to kick Raph, but Raph caught his leg, and swung him back. He fought each and every thug. The thugs realized how one-sided the fight was, and ran off. "Yeah, and don't you go harassing anymore women while I'm around!" Raph called out. He turned around, and could hear Sunset's heartbeat. She looked on in amazement. "Are you okay miss?" asked Raph. "You- you saved me..." said Sunset, "Thank you..." Raph smiled and said, "Hey, no problem. Just stay safe in this city, okay? I better get going. My bros might be wondering where I am." Sunset looked at Raphael while he heard her heartbeat and breathing, and could smell her scent. She noticed his bandana covered his eyes. "Is he, blind...?" Sunset thought to herself in realization. Despite this, there was some sort of spark that fell between them. Raphael then ran off into the night.
