☁Rachel☁

I paused, and quickly reanalyzed how I was going to tell him.

"...and then he kissed me." I mumbled, looking at my feet. I could feel the tension building in the room, and imagining the look on his face.

"And you let him?" he shouted. "Rachel, what the fuck?"

I looked up at Harry, noticing the tears streaming down his face. "I - I'm sorry. Whether I want to admit it or not, I still have feelings for him."

Harry shook his head, then closed his eyes. "I can't believe you. I can't believe after all he did to you, you'd let this happen."

I stood up, putting a hand over my mouth to keep myself from crying.

"Well don't you regret it? Say something. You can't just come here, tell me you kissed him, still have feelings for him, and then liked the kiss? What is this?" he sobbed, turning his back to me.

"I can't do this back and forth anymore. Not between us, or witnessing it between the two of you. It's hurting your careers, and you know it. The fans know it. Don't you pay attention to all of the 'Louis and Harry don't seem as close anymore' tweets? This has to stop. I'm done with the cause being me. It's my fault. But honestly, you two have to grow the hell up. I'm not worth ruining a friendship over, or your careers." I yelled, angrily walking behind him.

He turned around slowly. "Is that it then?"

I looked around the room and sighed.

☁Louis☁

I took her hands and looked into her sparkling blue eyes. God, she was beautiful.

"This isn't going to work out, Gabrielle." I said softly.

She jerked her hands away from mine. "What do you mean?"

I sighed, biting my lower lip. "I'm still in love with Rachel."

She laughed. "Fuck you."

She stood up, grabbed her purse off of the chair in one swift movement, and padded toward the door.

"You're an asshole, and I'll make sure you get what you deserve." she shouted, then slammed the door as she left.

I closed my eyes, and rested my head down onto the table.

"You did it for Rachel. You did it for Rachel."

But somehow, that made everything feel okay.

☁Rachel☁

"Thanks for stopping in, have a great night." I said happily to the customers who I had served, and had a chance to talk to since the night was so slow in the diner.

"You too, Rachel. Hope to see you again." the old woman said, sliding me a $10 tip.

I smiled. "What was your name again?"

"Bethany." the woman said, "And this is George."

"Nice to meet you both."

I walked away from the table, undoing my apron and grabbing the few tips that I had earned that night.

"You heading out?" Hannah shouted from the kitchen.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'll see you Friday."

She waved and turned her focus back to the burger she was cooking. I grabbed my keys from my locker underneath the counter, then headed to the door of the diner.

I saw in the corner of my eye, Harry on the phone with someone. He seemed angry as he paced up and down the sidewalk, and I heard the faint noise of him shouting.

I decided to quickly leave the diner, hoping he wouldn't see me.

I walked quickly to my car, opening the flashlight tool from my phone to help me see through the dusky evening.

I quickly unlocked the door, and slid into the driver's seat, and drove out of the parking lot behind the diner, my eyes searching for Harry who was sitting on a bus bench, his head in his hands.

I pulled to the side of the street and rolled down my window. He still hadn't looked up.

"Need a ride?" I shouted.

He slowly looked up, wiping his face with the back of his hand, and moving the hair out of his face. He got up, and walked to the other side of the car, and quietly sat down.

"Harry, we need to talk about this-" I began, but stopped as he turned his head quickly, glaring at me.

"There's nothing to talk about here. I'm done feeling bad for you, Rachel. You have me strapped on this emotional roller coaster, and I'm done feeling like shit. You would choose Louis over me any day of the week, and I mean, c'mon. I'm just your rebound. We are done Rachel, I don't want anything to do with you, or Louis, You probably saw me on the phone too. That was management. I'm done with One Direction. This has become too much for me. I don't want to be anyone's second choice." he yelled, tears rolling down his face.

"Harry-I, You can't quit One Direction." I whispered.

"Fuck you Rachel. And if you begin to think One Direction suffered because of you, you're right. This is all your damn fault, I wish you never would've showed up at the concert in London. Life would've been so much easier. I'm done with this. And I'm done with you." He shouted, opening the car door, and getting out.

He leaned against the frame of the car, looking at me intently. "I don't want you to contact me, I don't want you to have anything to do with me. We aren't friends."

He slammed the door, and it seemed like he pretended as if nothing just happened. I watched him in my side mirrors, as he became smaller and smaller. The tears began to slowly roll down my face, but I honestly couldn't believe that One Direction was over because of me. I ruined both Harry and Louis.

And I don't think I could live with that.

(I know, super short, drama filled chapter. Don't worry, it isn't over, but awkwardly enough, this situation reflects my own life, so that's cool. In the next few chapters, it will be a little difficult for some to read, but I will write more about that when the time comes. I guess we'll have to see what happens, but I felt like I needed to post something for all of you who are commenting and messaging me. I love you all so much.)

Song: The Truth by Jason Aldean...Not sure if any of you like country, but I think this song is a pretty good reflection of the boy's feelings. Sorry Louis wasn't really in this chapter.
