It's been almost a year now. A year since I broke up with Louis. And to be quite honest, I missed him. But not enough to get back together with him.
My phone rang, scaring me a little. And to my surprise, it was Harry.
"Hey Harry." I said.
"Rachel! I was hoping you'd pick up." he said, relieved.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"I need to talk to you. Do you want to meet in the park or something?"
"Sure. Meet you there in five?"
"Sounds good. See you then."
"Bye." I said, hanging up, and grabbing my car keys off the nightstand.
"Where are you going?" Marissa asked.
"Going to meet up with Harry."
"Oh, have fun."
"If that's what you want to call it." I sighed, and walked down to my car in somewhat of a hurry, and took off right away.
The drive was short, and I was driving faster than I probably should've.
I hope he wouldn't bring Louis. That wouldn't help things at all.
I parked on Main Street, and walked into the center or the park where Harry was already standing.
"Hey Harry." I said, giving him a hug.
"Hey. How've you been doing?" he asked.
"Okay. So, what's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you about Louis."
I rolled my eyes. "Harry, no."
"Rachel, he misses you like hell."
"Yeah I'm sure."
"He really does." he said.
"Whatever. So how's Josie?"
"I broke up with her."
"Wait what?" I said, surprised.
"It just didn't feel right with her." he shrugged his shoulders and looked over at me.
"Well, I guess we can relate in some way."
I sat there a minute looking around the park. It was summer, and I wouldn't be living so close for so much longer. I was moving away from Marissa, and moving in with someone else. Marissa and I grew very closer over the year, and I felt like we could really relate and I could trust her.
"I miss having you around Rach."
"I miss you guys too. My life's a lot more boring now." I smiled, bumping into his shoulder.
"I guess it's a lot more quiet. You know, Louis didn't cheat on you." He said, giving me a serious glare.
"And did he tell you to say that?"
"No. But believe me. He misses you."
I sighed. I missed him too. But what he did wasn't honorable. He wasn't worth my time anymore. I made a huge mistake, but I got to know some great friends which wasn't horrible.
"I'm just not ready to forgive him. I'm sorry."
"Okay. How's Allison?"
I glare at him. Did he just go there?
"Allison and your son are just fine." I say with no expression at all.
He swallows nervously. "Son?"
"Yeah." I say. "His name is Mason."
He runs his fingers through his hair and looks at me. An almost fearful look in his eyes.
"Oh my god."
"Yeah. You kinda ruined her life. All she wanted was throw by the way-side because of Mason. I love him to death, but really? Does anyone know about this?" I asked, hoping that the press wouldn't know.
"No. Not really."
"Well Harry, looks like you're in deep shit."
"I know, I know. Thanks for reminding me." he says sarcastically.
I looked at my phone, and I forgot I was going to meet up with Alexa for lunch.
"Harry I gotta go." I say, standing up.
"Thanks for meeting me, Rach."
I gave him a hug and looked up into his eyes. I never realized he had such beautiful eyes.
He leaned down and kissed me, and I kissed him back, harder than he expected.
"Bye Harry." I said, turing around jogging to my car.
"Bye Rachel." I heard him said faintly before I got in.
My heart was racing, and the scene played over and over in my head.
I think I'm in love with Harry.
