Chapter 15

Shawn's POV:

"Come with me Shawn?"

"Of course," I said.

I picked her up off her feet. She held her left hand and winced. I looked down at it and saw a piece of glass wedged in her palm.

"Olivia, are you okay? Here come on let's go inside and get you cleaned up," I grabbed her and picked her up bridal style.

"Shawn, I can walk," she said smiling.

"Yeah, I know. Who said I didn't want to hold you?" I smirked.

We ran upstairs and into the bathroom. I knelt down and took out a big band-aid.

"This might hurt a little. You can hold my other hand as I pull the glass out, okay?"

"Okay. Be careful Shawn. It hurts a lot," she said as I pulled the glass out gently. She yelped a little.

"Here run it under the water and I'll put on some Peroxide and a band-aid," And she did.

"Can you tell me the whole story now, Olivia? Because before I go beat up my best friend for pushing you around, I want to know why," I said truthfully. I can't believe Sam would stoop to that level.

She sat down on the edge of the tub and told me everything. She started crying just talking about it. My cheeks started heating up. How could he cheat on such a perfect, innocent girl?! I'm furious.

"It's okay, Shawn. Don't worry about it. He's a jerk and isn't worth your time and effort," Olivia told me between tiny sobs. I know she hates fights. She put her hands over her face.

"I guess I won't do anything unless he starts it. Only for you though," I said. I hate seeing her cry. I wrapped my hands around her tiny wrists and pulled them away from her face.

Our eyes met. Even though she'd been crying, she still looks so pretty.

I put my hands on her face and wiped her tears away with my thumbs. I can't hold it in any longer. I have to kiss her.

I pulled her face close to mine and kissed her. It felt so perfect. I felt fireworks and I loved it.

The best part is, she kissed back.

Olivia's POV:

Shawn put his hands on my face and started to wipe my tears away. It was so sweet. Then, he did the unexpected.

Shawn pulled me in and kissed me. I felt instant sparks. I thought I felt something when I was with Sam. Obviously I didn't know what fireworks really felt like until now.

"Um hello?!" I hear from behind me. I pulled away from Shawn to see.. Can you guess? Sam. Of course.

"I was just coming to apologize to you for pushing you down. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was actually gonna come help clean you up, but I see my BEST FRIEND has already taken care of it," Sam said.

Then, Shawn stood up. Please don't fight. Please don't fight. Please don't fight.

"It's hilarious how you're trying to make me seem like the bad person here! Are you kidding me? You cheated on your amazing girlfriend and then PUSHED HER DOWN. Did you even know she got glass stuck in her hand? Bet you didn't. You only care about yourself, Sam,"

Sam then shoved Shawn. And Shawn shoved back. Shawn pulled back his arm like he was about to hit Sam. Sh*t.

I ran over to Shawn and tried to pull him away from Sam.

"Olivia stay out of this!" He pulled his arm away causing me to fall.

"I'm tired of this," I heard Shawn mumble as he stormed out of the bathroom.
