Chapter 12

Olivia's POV:

I woke up and I immediately reached over to my bedside table and looked at my phone. It was 11:28. I was always the earliest one to wake up.

I went to brush my teeth and just decided to stay in my pajamas for a little longer. I walked down the hall to Sam and Jack's room. I shook the both of them awake.

"Sam, I need you and the rest of the boys to take Matt to lunch. Bring him to a fancy place to eat. I need you all to dress up a bit. Khakis and button downs for the party tonight please." I said. He nodded his head and got up and headed to the bathroom.

"Sam, you don't have to leave now. Maybe about 4? We can just watch some movies til then. Jack, I need you to 'not feel good'. You have to get the catering company set and sign the papers." "Yeah, that's right!" he said.

Sam and I walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and started digging through the cabinets. I got out a bag of bagels and cream cheese from the fridge.

After I was done eating, I walked into the living room. Almost everyone was down here besides, Johnson, Matt, Chloe, and Cameron. They were always the later risers, and Gilinsky is "sick".

The rest of us decided to watch some movies. I was shuffling through the cabinets until I picked one. It was "Mean Girls."

It was now 1:03. Everyone was now downstairs besides Gilinsky. We decided to watch another movie. This time the boys picked. Taylor picked out "Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift".

We finally finished the movie. It was now 2:27. We all just sat on our phones on social medias for about 10 minutes.

Sam looked down at me and I looked at him and gave him a nod. "Hey Matt. How about me, you, and the boys go for a late lunch for an early birthday lunch? It's a guy thing so the girls can stay here." He said.

"Yeah, sure! Where are we going? And where's Gilinsky?" Matt questioned.

"Uh, we are gonna go to that nice, fancy restaurant down the street. So dress nice, khakis and button downs. Gilinsky isn't feeling too well, so he's still in bed. He's gonna stay home." Sam lied.

"Well I'm gonna go get a shower and get ready. I'll meet you guys back down here before 3:45." Sam said directly to the guys.

The rest of the guys went to get ready also. The girls and I went upstairs into mine and Emma's room and shut the door then started looking through some of our clothes in the closet. We tried on many outfits, but they just didn't fit the occasion.

We started think about what we had to do today. We then came to the conclusion that all we had to do was blow up some balloons, set up the speakers, set up the party lights, lay out the finger foods, and put the decorations out.

"The boys aren't coming back until 8" I said. I looked at my phone, it was already 3:40. I heard Sam's footsteps going down the hall. "I'll be back," I said to the girls.

I quickly walked down the hallway, and caught up with Sam.

"Hey babe" he said to me. "Hey! Please, please, please, keep the guys busy until about 7 or 8. I will text you and let you know. Okay?" "Okay" he said to me. "Alright bye babe. I'll see you later. I love you. Have fun." I said to him. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and returned the "I love you" and "goodbye".

I came back into my room and explained to the girls that we had plenty of time to go to the mall.

Gilinsky went to Walmart to get the cake and meet up with the caterers. They were making desserts, Jell-O shots, and other things.

Me and the girls grabbed our phones and purses and headed towards the mall.

-Skip car ride-

We got to the mall and once we entered, we all went into Charlotte Russe. They had plenty of party dresses in there. Emma told us that we had to hurry and shop quickly.

After about 30 minutes, we all met by the shoe bar. Lexi had a gorgeous sparkly gold body con dress that had a low scoop that opened all the way to the waist that had elastic crossing making 4 crisscrosses all the way down to the waist with some black heels.

Emma and I had the same quarter sleeve dress that had sequins on it. Mine was gold and hers was silver. We also had matching pumps to go with the dress.

Chloe had gold sequin shorts with a tight black quarter sleeve shirt and some glittery gold heels.

Blair was holding a loose white tee shirt with some black shorts that had glittery pink designs and glitter pink heels.

We checked out and headed home to set up the decorations.

After about 10 minutes, we were home. We saw pulled up and saw another Jeep parked in the driveway.

We walked into the house and it was Gilinsky. He had already had the food set out and now he was on the couch blowing up balloons.

"Show me what that mouff do, Gilinsky" Emma teased. That was his favorite song.

We went upstairs and put our dresses in our closets. Then we walked down stairs to blow up the balloons and put glow sticks in some.

Matt's party was rave themed. We finished up the balloons and setting up. By by the time we were done, it was 6 o'clock.

Me, the girls, and Gilinsky went to get ready. We all took showers and did our things.

It was now 7:30 when we all met in the living room. We pushed all of the furniture against one wall and and took out the alcohol and put them in a bucket of ice.

"I texted Sam, he's on his way" I said to everyone. "Oh, yeah, I invited some people over from the neighborhood and some people I met at that beach party last year. They should be arriving soon," Gilinsky said.

About 5 minutes later, we heard a knock on the door. About 15 people came. We went ahead and turned on the music and the party lights.

10 minutes followed, it was now 7:45. Sam and the boys walked in. "WHAT IS THIS??" Matt asked super excitedly.

"SURPRISE!" We all yelled at him. "This is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me! Thank guys! I love you all!" He said while he started dancing to the music.

Sam's POV:

Lexi was looking super sexy tonight. Me and her had a thing last summer, and I'm not sure I'm over her... Olivia is great and perfect but I will always have a thing for Lexi.

She was at the table getting a drink when I did the unthinkable...

I grabbed her by her waist and spun her around, and kissed her...
