It's been a week since I lost my virginity to Jax, and I've been kind of ghosting him since. While I want to meet my Father and tell him I was wrong to judge him I still had a feeling of hatred towards him.

Gemma said he tried to find me, but how hard did he really try? How could he really not know about me.

"Harley? Harley!" I blinked a few times before I met eyes with my one friend I had made since I moved to Charming. We both had today off so she convinced me to go with her to the fair that was in town. "You okay?"

"I'm fine." I tried to smile but couldn't. "Just worried about the pup."

She smiled at me. "You should really give him a name, you've brought him in two times already this week." She was a vet tech at the veterinary clinic I had brought the pup too. "I can help you think of one."

"No it's okay, I'm just waiting till he's up and walking to decide." He was passed out at my house right now though, he was on so much medicine he was out most of the day anyways. I had moved his pen to the sliding door in my house, and put up a huge dog door. It was too big for him, but that was okay because he got through it without hurting himself worse. Since I wasn't home all the time to let him out that was the best I could do.

"Hey lets go on the spinout."

"You got it, Evelyn." I spoke following her, Evelyn was a year older than me, had been a vet tech for two years, and was going to school at night to try and become an actual vet. She was also a good two inches taller than me, had brown hair, darker skin, and green eyes. We looked kind of opposite from each other which made being friends with her better. She was a nice person, made up for me being a bitch or shy half the time.

As we got there, we hopped in line, a girl coming up behind us. "Whoa, no single riders." The guy spoke to the girl behind us as we were about to get on.

"I've already been on today though." She spoke but the guy shook his head.

"She can ride with us." I spoke up making the guy look at me. "We're all small enough that the three of us can fit."

The guy let her through so she jogged over to Evelyn and I. "I'm Harley, that's Evelyn." I introduced as we walked over to our seats.

"Tristen." I nodded to her, and we got on the ride. Once we got off we split ways.

"She seemed like a nice kid." Evelyn spoke so I nodded. "Hey, that clown is taunting everyone, you good at baseball?"

"Nope." I spoke as we walked over. "I would like to see him dunked though."

"Hey, look at these two! Too weak to dunk me? I'll even let you stand a bit closer!" The clown yelled looking over at us.

"If I buy some balls will you at least try?" Evelyn asked so I sighed and nodded. She smiled before running over to the guy and handing him a ten. He gave us three balls each. Evelyn went first so I held mine.

"Damn it." She spoke when she missed.

"Aw sweetheart, aim like the man did last night on your face." The clown spoke and my eyes widened seeing kids around.

"Hey, asshole. There are kids here." I spoke as Evelyn threw another ball.

"What. Can't hit me in so I'll shut my mouth?" He asked as Evelyn threw her last ball and Bozo just kept laughing. "Your turn, let's see what you got."

"I got this." I heard a gruff voice behind me and I took a deep breath of air as Jax put his hand on my shoulder and grabbed one of the balls from me.

"Go ahead, my aim is shit." My heart was racing, I couldn't hit the target if I tried now.

"Ooh, look at the big, bad, bikers, huh? Gonna get Clowny all wet, huh?" He laughed as Jax threw the first ball.
