Chapter 9: Freed

(Sorry for not updating in a couple of days, I got writers block so I took a little longer to update than usual, but I did what I could, hope you like this chapter!)

Ira's POV
I wanted to get out of here, this place, I was chained to the floor, (the picture up above, except he doesn't look happy)
I continuously tried to pull free, but every time I tried to break the chain I just ended up getting weaker, soon enough, every time I pulled I would fall to my knees, I tried to use my powers to break it, but I was too weak and out of energy to use them, I had gotten rid of my icy tears from before, the ice around me got closer and the temperature got colder, I shivered even more then I had before,
'C'mon you stupid chain, BREAK!'
I yanked on the chain really hard one more time before finally giving up, I sighed in defeat as I sat down on the cold, dark floor, the ice was close enough to touch me now,
Me:"so cold..."
I hugged myself to try and stay warm, I had been here for hours now, I was beginning to doubt that I would make it out of here alive, I gritted my teeth at the thought of never getting out of here, just then, I could've sworn that I heard voices in the distance, one of the voices sounded like a young women's voice, another one was the voice of a girl around my age, the third sounded like a man,
Woman:"Ira, where are you?!"
Girl:"Ira!"
Man:"IRA!!"
'Hold on, that's...'
Me:"guys?! Hey, I'm over here!!"
I stood up and I waved my free hand for them to see me, soon enough, they spotted me and came running, I was so happy to see them that I forgot about the chain,
Me:"guys, I'm glad to see you but, what're you all doing here?"
I tried to get to them, but I ended up yanking on the chain again, which made me remember I was still trapped here,
Me:"...oh...I forgot I'm chained..."
Rachel:"huh?"
They all finally noticed the chain attached to my arm,
Marmo:"well, just use your powers."
Me:"I already tried that, I'm too weak right now."
Marmo:"well then, we'll have to come to you."
Marmo was about to step on the ice surrounding me when Rachel stopped her,
Rachel:"Wait a sec!"
Marmo:"huh?!"
Marmo stopped,
Rachel:"Bel, do you have something you can throw on that ice?"
Bel just nodded, and threw one of those energy takers onto the ice, the energy taker froze solid the second it hit the ice surface, as much as I resented those lollipops, it's a good thing he had them to test the ice, but it still worried me that he even had one here in the first place,
Me:"is-is that all of your lollipops?"
Bel:"yeah, it is."
Me:"..."
I avoided eye contact with Bel,
Me:"g-good...so, how're we gonna get me out of here?"
Marmo was about to say something when the ice got closer to me, and it got colder, I shivered and gritted my teeth, everyone else did the same ,
Me:"w-we'd better get out of here soon, or we'll get turned into a bunch of popsicles!"
Everyone nods and we try to find a way to get out of here.

Maya's POV
We were fighting Riba, waiting for Rachel to return with the mercenare's, and the REAL Ira,
Riba:"why fight back? Why try to defend the things you love when everything will eventually come crumbling down anyway?"
Me:"Well, sometimes I don't know, is it because I care about everything around me and want to protect it? Or is it because I don't wanna become some creepy evil ghost like you?! Heck! Maybe it's BOTH!"
Riba:"hey kid! I may be an evil ghost, but "creepy" seems to be taking it a little too far!"
Glitter Spade/Mackenzie:"actually, I think that word suits you perfectly!"
Spade said, almost kicking Riba in the face, Riba unfortunately dodged her attack and shot a dark beam of light at us,
Glitter Clover/Clara:"don't worry, I've got this!"

(Pretend that they weren't fighting Regina's distain and Clover Reflection worked, and that Rachel was not there because she's with Ira, and that Regina wasn't there...aaaannd that Maya was fighting with them as Glitter Heart. I'm sorry, it's the only video of Glitter Clover doing her shield I could find.)

Me:"thanks Clover, good job!"
Glitter Ace/Natalie:"yes, that was quite impressive."
Glitter Clover;"thanks girls!"
Riba:"enough compliments! Let's fight!"
Riba shot another beam at us but we dodged the attack just in time,
Glitter Spade:"it's time to teach you some manners!"
Glitter Spade kicked him in the gut which made him fall backwards, but he got back up pretty quickly, I looked at Ira's heart and saw that it was almost completely frozen! No wonder I felt so tired, we can't finish the fight without doing our Togetherness Power Arrow, but we can't do THAT without Glitter Diamond!
'Rachel, where are you?!'
Just then, the heart started to glow,
Riba:"huh?!"
After the bright light went away, I saw Glitter Diamond, Bel and Marmo in front of me!
Me:"wait, where's Ira?"
Ira:"I'm right here."
I looked over to see Ira back in his body!

Rachel's POV
"I'm right here"
I heard Ira say, I look over to see him in his own body again, thank god he was back to normal! His eyes were back to their original colour, too. Suddenly,
Ira:"but now, we need to get rid of him."
Ira said, pointing at Riba, who was now in ghost form,
Me;"alright!"

We shot the power arrow at Riba and he disappeared.

3rd person POV
Once the Glitter Force shot Riba, he was destroyed, Ira and Rachel exchanged glances, they both smiled,
Bel:"well, now that we got Ira back, your services are no longer acquired. Ira, Marmo, let's go."
Marmo just nodded, but when Bel tried to touch Ira's shoulder, Ira just stepped away, still not trusting Bel, Bel just sighed and teleported away, then Marmo and Ira teleported away as well.
Rachel and the rest of the Glitter Force noticed the tension between Bel and Ira, but Rachel was the only one who had an idea as to why they were acting this way.
Rachel:"so, I guess tomorrow we'll be fighting them again, huh?"
Clara:"it seems so."
Maya:"don't worry, Rachel. I'm sure Ira's still your friend, even if we're enemies with him again."
Rachel nods and they all go home.
