"Alright everyone! Let's go out for a quest!" Nat announced, standing in the middle of the common room.
"Eh? What're you talking about? We did enough, we should relax now," replied a Sean occupying his usual spot at the couch.
"Hey, you shut-in, it's my turn at the couch today," an indignant Andrea interrupted.
"Excuse me? You were here yesterday. Nat had it the day before and he gave it to you just because you asked nicely. It's my turn, and I'm not Nat. Now shoo."
"Hey, guys, stop quarrelling." Finrod interjected
Luuk winked. "If you pay me, I'll give you my turn."
"Cease this at once! The great me arriveth to claim mine rightful couch! Leave it immediately if thou wisheth not to face mine wrath!"
Finrod sighed, sitting down on a sofa as the usual morning scene at their new home played out. It had been a week since the cleansing of this place. In that time, they had refurnished the place and made it operational again. Not like it was in a bad state, but it was old. Lediga had recovered quicker than anticipated, and had gone out to 'hang out with some friends' at the pub. During this time period, Finrod and Vector made constant visits to the local magic item shop, claiming to be doing research on an item that would greatly benefit the guild.
Just as this bickering was dying down, Lediga made his entrance. "Hey guys."
"Back already?" An annoyed Sean asked.
"Yeah. And why're you on the couch? Wasn't it my turn today?" Crap, I didn't think he'd be back.
"Oh? It is? Ah, how about we decide it with a game of rock-paper-scissors?"
"Oh! Count me in!" Andrea exclaimed.
"No way," both of them replied at the same time.
"Awwwh." Indeed, no one was dumb enough to play a game of rock-paper-scissors against someone with a maxed out luck stat. Lediga walked over to the couch, and Sean sat up, ready to start.
"Rock-paper-scissors..."
...
...
...
Sean: "L-let's do a best of three."
Lediga: "Sure."
My luck really is the worst. He should've challenged Lediga to something else. Those were his thoughts as he had to abandon his beloved couch.
"Seriously, why don't we just get a second couch?" Nat inquired, turning to Finrod, who put on a bright smile.
"Because I quite like this drama."
"I see..."
"Anyway, Vector. Let's go, our project ends today, so we can collect the final product now."
Finrod and Vector. These two had still operated as a duo even after the formation of the guild. They even wore clothes as if to represent their status as day and night; Vector wearing red and gold and Finrod in blue and silver. Both wore long, flowing robes befitting nobility, though Finrod, of course, wasn't nobility.
"Bwahaha! Thou art correct! Soon all of thee shalt witness the greatness of my creation!" Laughing again, he followed Finrod out of the room. They were certainly going to the magic item shop again, and Sean's interest was piqued.
"Hey, wait a minute, can I come?"
"Ohoho? The shut-in wants to go out? What an unexpected development!" Luuk mocked.
