Are you a writer?

You say you write
About your soul, a lover's body,
Raging emotions -- your heart
Yet you dilly and dally
Amidst fake words and more fake art

You say you write
For the sake of writing
Not for the recognition
Fit for a queen or a king
Your majesty, I dare ask a question

You say you write
But what are you on?
Iridescent, hegemony, and splendiferous
Pleiades, Kairos, and halcyon
Aren't you a tad pretentious?

You say you write
But you cannot tell a story
As simple as a flower
The sun loves unconditionally
And you call yourself a writer?
