He smiles at me as he extends his hand and shakes mine. I laugh a little and look to the ground as I realize he's still staring. A blush comes on quickly.

"Yeah so that's Cameron. You know that now since he politely introduced himself" Nash said and his voice sounded a little annoyed. Was he jealous?

"And these guys," he motioned to the other people who had crowded around us,"are the lame people I've been touring with" I heard a few laughs and remarks back. One by one they introduce themselves to me

"Carter"

"Matt"

"Shawn"

"Jack"

"Jack"

"Taylor"

"Aaron"

I smiled because I honestly had no idea who was who. I could only tell Cameron apart from all of them. He had a mischievous smirk on his face. It was playful and he looked as if he was always up to no good. It was a look that little boys wore before they got into trouble.

"Well it's nice to meet all of you. I think I'm going to go inside right now. I haven't seen my mom since last night and she's probably freaking out since I haven't contacted her" I felt bad leaving because I wanted to stay and talk to all the guys and even Nash.

"Leaving so soon?" Cameron said with a sly grin and raised an eyebrow.

"Unfortunately. I mean it would be nice to stay and talk but maybe later"

"Yeah, how bout you come over later, Stella?" Nash said looking at me. He leaned close to me, "I kind of need to speak to you" My heart beat quickly at his words. I nodded and turned to walk back to my house. I felt eyes still on me and turned around before reaching my porch. He stood with the guys but Cameron's eyes were still on mine. I turned away quickly and opened my front door.

Of course my mom flipped a shit. It was kind of understandable so I didn't try to fight back. I went to my room and listened to her punishment. No leaving the house. Of course that one I'd find my way around to speak to Nash.

I plopped down on my bed. What did Nash want to speak to me about? I tried not to get my hopes up because I didn't know his feelings for me at all. I was supposed to hate him since that's how we had left off before he went on tour. But, all those feelings seemed to be forgotten now. I didn't want to hold any grudges. That's what I'm going to say to him. I'll explain that I was immature then and I've moved on and all is forgiven.

I fall asleep and wake to a few messages from Nash asking if we could talk now. I replied nervously asking him to meet at my house as I was punished. I crept quietly downstairs and sat on the swing on my porch.

Nash's figure appeared walking and got closer and closer. I realized I didn't feel so confident anymore and I was so scared. He paused as he reached the steps leading up to the porch. He smiled and look as nervous as i probably did.

"Hey. Sorry I have to make it kind of quick" this made my heart sink. I knew it wouldn't be coming but I half hoped he'd confess his undying love for him but oh well. I'd wait for that moment. He sat down next to me on the swing as it swung back and forth. We kicked our feet out pushing it gently.

"I just wanted to finally clear things up a bit. I wanted to apologize for the fight we had a while before I left. We never talked about it and I regretted not being able to talk to you before I left" he avoided eye contact as we spoke.

"I know. Look, I wish I could've talked to you too. But, I don't care about any of that anymore. Friends?" He looked a little surprised at how easy id given in and how quickly. I wanted to keep it short and sweet because the more I spoke the more feelings I'd share, and I wasn't ready to have a confession of the lifelong crush I'd have on him.

We sat there in silence and he decided to stand up.

"Friends. Definitely. Thanks for making this easy. I was kind of worried. Goodnight, I missed you a lot, Stella. The guys all really want you to come hang out tomorrow." I nodded and waved again and disappeared down the road. I gathered myself together and plopped down on the couch watching TV and mulling over my thoughts and feelings for Nash. Old feelings kept resurfacing for him. I checked the clock and it was past midnight when I heard a light knock on the door. Befuddled, I got up and didn't know who to expect at the door. Although, this was the most unexpected person of all. Behind the door was Cameron. He smiled

"Good you're awake!"
