We Need To Talk

*THIS IS A SHORT FILLER CHAPTER KINDA LIKE A FILLER EPISODE*

Chris and Chyler's POV

Chyler- I was about to leave set when I heard sobs from Melissa's trailer. I ran up the steps and barged through the door.

"Ahh! Oh hi Chy..." she said with tears streaming down her face.

"Mel why so down I can hear your sobs from OUTSIDE your trailer." I say. She stops crying just to answer.

"I've been thinking A LOT and the truth is I still love Blake... I mean how am I supposed to move on, it's obvious that it was easy for him." She says.

"Well I don't have anything but what about we do ice cream and a movie marathon later... ice cream always helped me with break ups." I say not knowing a straight answer to her question.

"Okay that sounds good... but Chy I still love him, I also feel this thing for Chris. He makes me smile even though I am dying inside." She says.

"You Melissa Benoist have a crush on your costar and best friend Chris Wood." I say smirking.

"I am not denying that I like him... I just think I need time to get over Blake and I am scared to get hurt... what if Chris is like Blake they seem all nice at first but they hurt you later." She says.

"Mel Chris is a good guy." I say sitting next to her on the couch and rubbing her back.

"WHAT IF HE DOES NOT LIKE ME! CHYLER I AM NOT RISKING HIM AND I'S FRIENDSHIP JUST BECAUSE I LIKE HIM!" She yells.

"Oh Mel trust me he likes you... the way he looks at you the way he gives guys death glares when they look at you. You should see his face when you say just good friend or best friends. He looks like his dog died." I say reassuringly. "I gotta go bye see you late for ice cream and movies."

"Bye Chy and thanks." She says her eyes puffy and red.

Chris- I am watching myself in Vampire Diaries in my trailer. Playing Kai Parker is my second favorite, Mon-el first because I met Melissa here and I get to kiss her. God Chris she doesn't like you stop. My thoughts are interrupted when my trailer door swings open. I turn to see Chyler.

"We have to talk." She says in a serious tone.

"Okay come sit." I say patting to the empty space next to me on the couch.

"I know you like Melissa." She says.

"W-w-what n-no I d-don't!" I say stuttering. Great Chris you gave it away. She raises her eyebrow. "Fine I do." I say sighing in defeat. "She doesn't like me back though, she made it very clear that we are just best friends."

"Well you have it all wrong Melissa likes you but she still loves Blake. Give her time to heal from the divorce. Then you can ask her out and she might say yes. I am not sure she's scared to get hurt again." She says.

"Oh... I will wait forever for Mel she's one of a kind I haven't seen someone as beautiful and unique as her." I say.

"All you can do is wait and be patient with her, don't rush her into anything. Also support her this divorce is taking a toll on her." She says.

"Chris I think your a good guy if you end up dating Mel break her heart and I swear your dead." She says.

"I won't hurt her ever scours honor." I say jokingly. She glares at me. "I won't do anything to hurt her and I won't rush into anything Chyler I love her I am not going to hurt her." I say. She sighs.

"You two would look really cute together. Mel better get her act together before you move on." She says.

"We would look cute, and I am not moving on." I say laughing.
