The Scripted Kiss

Melissa's POV
It's been a a few months since the trial and things have gotten a bit better. Blake came out to the media with dating Hanna about a month ago. I miss him a lot but Chris has been here to help me get through it all. Am I catching feelings? Since I met him if I am being honest. He's such a great guy... just how Blake was and look how that turned out. I arrive on set and met Jeremy in the parking lot.
"Yes! We get the script for episode eight today!" Jeremy says.
"I know I am so excited this one is going to be a game changer for Kara is what I heard." I reply.
I walk into the table read and see everyone. Chris, Chy, Mechad, Jeremy, David, Katie, and some of the other characters. Everyone gets there script and we immediately dive in. It looks all good it's the Thanksgiving special. I let out a small chuckle at the humor in the episode... until I get to the Cadmus part. Killing off all the aliens in national city. It's a kryptonian virus developed by Kara's father, what a twist that must be the game changer. I hear Chris choke on his coffee and I look up. I see that he gets infected and is dying in the script. I notice everyone is waiting for me to finish. Why is everyone staring at me? I continue reading and my eyes widen. Oh! that's the game changer. I read the side note that Kara is sitting Mon-el and Mon-el kisses Kara. I set the script down and walk out of the table read to get some air. Why is this getting to me? We've kissed before!

Chris' POV
I am reading my script and I take a sip of my coffee. I almost spit it out as a read the notes in the script. Mon-el kisses Kara. I look up at the blonde and smirk happily. I notice everyone is done reading except for her. We all wait and I watch as her eyes widen. She closes her script and walks out the room. I go to chase after her but Jeremy holds me back. I watch as Chyler walks out to find Mel.
