Part Two Of The Late Night Show With Jimmy Fallon

Chris' POV

I watch Mel answer a bunch of questions, about Supergirl, and other things. Finally, the one questions comes what are you and Chris? I wait to be called out.

"What are you and Chris?" Jimmy asks.

"Well why don't you ask both of us." Mel says. That's my cue and I walk out onto the stage waving at the crowd and cameras. I take a seat on the couch next to Mel and drop my arm on the back around her.

"Nice drool you got there Chris!" Jimmy says.

"That's Melissa's drool actually." I say laughing and I see Melissa blush. "Don't sweat it Mel this suit definitely wasn't expensive." I say sarcastically.

"So you guys seem like more than friends." Jimmy says and he pulls out photos of us hugging, and kissing each other's cheeks.

"Well we are just BEST FRIENDS, best friends kiss each other's cheeks and hug..." Melissa says and I nod my head.

"What about a couple of minutes ago..." Jimmy says pulling up a picture of Mel and I cuddled up on a couch backstage asleep.

"Who the hell took that..." I say quietly into Mel's ear. She's just as shocked as I am.

"That's normal I sleep on Jeremy all the time." I say thinking of the first person that comes to mind. Everyone laughs. This isn't going so well...

"If you say so... so you guys are just best friends but the world wouldn't mind if Melwood becomes a real thing someday." Jimmy says winking.

"Not happening at least for now." Mel says shocking me that she's hinting at dating me. I am internally happy I feel like screaming yes and running around pumping my fist in the air.

Melissa's POV

Oh my God I just hinted at dating Chris in the future. What are you thinking he doesn't like you and you are still getting over a heart break. I miss Blake the old him at least the one who would take me on dates and buy me flowers and chocolates. And sing with me and dance with me when the radio was on in the car. I feel tears forming in my eyes but I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Jimmy ask a question.

"Melissa is it true you are getting a divorce with you Glee Co-star Blake Jenner?" Jimmy asks. I freeze the subject is still a bit touchy. I don't answer until I feel Chris tap my shoulder.

"Y-yes." I stutter.

"Why you guys seemed like you were doing great?" Jimmy asks. Why so many questions about my love life?

"The distance with me in Vancouver and him in LA." Is all I manage to say.

"Well fans think it's more what about Hanna? Blake and Hanna got together immediately after you filed for divorce." Jimmy says and shows a few picture of Blake and Hanna kissing. My whole body tenses and I freak out. I still love him maybe not as much as before but part of my heart is still hung up on him. I start to panic and my breathing quickens. I feel tears forming in my eyes remembering our conversation and that the finalization in court is this week. I run my hand over my now bare ring finger and I quickly stand up and leave rushing off the stage. Once I am out of the sights of the cameras I breakdown in tears.

Chris' POV

Mel rushes off stage after Jimmy talks about her divorce and mentions Hanna. I froze too but once Mel rushed off stage I snapped back into reality. I stood up and began walking in the direction she went.

"Thanks but I better get going." I say and give Jimmy one of those you fucked up everything look.

"But the show isn't over!" He says.

"Well maybe you shouldn't have mentioned her divorce and stop asking such personal questions!" I snap and rush after Mel.

I see her running to the parking lot and I run after her.

"Mel wait!" I yell. I see her turn around her face is red and her eyes red as well. I feel my heart break.
