Chapter 4

Hermione

After that talk with Draco this morning, i got a little glimpse inside of what hes really like, and i like it. Draco and I had all classes together, except for Muggle studies. I was currently walking to Professor Mcgonagall's office, to ask her if i could have more classes.

"Lemon Drops." I said to the griffin  Statue and it opened and I made my way up the stairs and greeted Professor Mcgonagall, with a smile.

"Hello, Ms. Granger." she said and I returned her hello with a smile. "What is it?" she asked looking up from her parchment.

"I was wondering why I only have two classes." i said with a frown, ever since 3rd year I've had multiple classes to the point where professor Mcgonagall and Dumbledore gave me a time turner so i could get to all my classes and i loved it.

"Well Hermione you've taken all the classes you need , all you need to do is take Defense Against The Dark Arts  and potions and you're finished" She said and my shoulders dropped, only two classes? I guess I can start reading more books in the library, or the library in the common room.

"Well I would like to know why i have to take Defense class, considering what happened last year?" I asked tilting my head and she smiled once more and stood up walking around her desk and stood in front of me.

"About that, I was wondering if you would like to help the new professor with that class along with Mr. Malfoy." she said I contemplated the offer a bit, it would be a new challenge, I shrugged.

"Sure." I nodded and she smiled and clasped her hands together.

"Great, Professor Mars has the lesson plans, now I warn you, and I want you to give this word back to Mr. Malfoy, Professor Mars is going to do field tests." She said.

"Field test," I asked tilting my head, "What kind of field tests?"

"Well, i explained to professor Mars about yours and Mr. Malfoy's situation last year, and he is willing to exempt you on them." she said and i nodded.

"Well, I'll tell Malfoy, and then when we get to the field tests I'll tell Professor if i want to be exempt, I can't speak for Malfoy though." i said and she nodded.

"Thank you Professor, but i must be going." i said with a smile and got up from my seat.

"Okay, have a good day Miss. Granger." she said as i exited her office, and made my way down to the dungeons and to the potions class room where i saw already Draco sitting  in a desk. He turned and waved for me to come sit by him. I bowed my head as people stared and made my way to the seat next to him.

"I'm surprised Granger, you didn't get here before me." he joked and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Well I wanted to ask if I can get more classes, but it seems that I've taken every class that I need." I frowned and he chuckled, it was deep and so handsome. Oh don't be Daft dimbo that fawns over every little thing, my thoughts insulted at me. My thoughts always seem to be insulting me these days, never a nice thing, but i guess it wants whats best.

"Oh by the way, Professor Mcgonagall wanted me to ask you, if you wanted to help teach with the new professor of the Defense class?" i asked and he looked at me confused.

"Why?" he asked tilting his head like a cute puppy.

"Because of what happened." i simply stated as more students poured into the class room.

"Are you going to do it?" he asked as I got out my parchment and quills.

"Yeah, it'll give me a new challenge." I smiled and shrugged
