Chapter 27

Hermione

It had been a month since Draco and I got back together, and I was late. A month late for my period. I honestly didn't know what to think. I knew the answer but I hoped that it really wasn't the answer.

I'm freaking out. Draco was with Julia helping her and her husband move some furniture, and I was at home crying. I didn't know who to go to. Mum would start crying saying how she cant wait for grandbabies, Julia is obviously moving and Ginny was taking care of her kids, but she is one of my best friends and I needed her.

I used the floo this time and Landed in the living room of Harry and Ginny's house. Ginny was sitting on the couch and looked over at me as I got up form the floor.

"Hey Her-What happened?" She asked noticing my panicked state, I was crying uncontrollably because I'm afraid of having my own children.

"Come, sit." She said guiding me to the couch and I sat there trying to regain my composure.

"What's going on?" Ginny asked and I looked at her pleading for her to understand, but she didn't.

"Ginny, I'm late." I said and her eyes went wide and she smiled.

"Oh my gosh!" She squealed pulling me into a hug and I was still freaking out, "I'm so happy for you!" She said pulling away, her smile faded once she saw that I was still not smiling.

"Oh gosh, you don't exactly know do you?" She asked and I shook my head. She gave me a gentle smile and stood up holding out her hand for me to take and I did. We walked to her room and I sat on her bed as she rummaged through her bathroom cabinet. She took out a box and smiled.

"Here, take this test and after a few minuets we'll know." She said handing me the box and I walked to the bathroom. I opened it and read the directions and followed it. I had placed the top back on the test and opened the door and she smiled.

"Now we wait." she said walking into the bathroom. we sat against the cabinet with the test right in front of us. It would take 3 minuets for us to know the answer and it has got to be the longest 3 minuets of my life.

"It's okay Mione, you'll be a wonderful mother." She said assuring me but I have my doubts.

"I don't know Ginny, what if I'm a horrible mother." I said and she scoffed.

"Please, they way you treat my kids, I'm sure yours are going to be more than okay." She said and I laughed a bit.

"What if Draco doesn't want it?" I asked placing my hand on my flat tummy, I looked at her and her warm smile never left her face.

"He loves you Hermione. He will give his life for you, literally." She said mentioning our month during Hogwarts. I nodded and sighed. I looked at the test and all I needed was one bar left and we can know.

"If you are, I honestly can't wait to spoil them." She said and I laughed.

"Me too, I'm going to give them everything they want." I said with a smile. Ginny gasped and grabbed the test reading it and her smile widened.

"What? What is it Ginny?" I asked and she let out a loud scream making me flinch and cover my ears.

"You're pregnant!" She screamed, making me scream with excitement. I grabbed the test from her hand and stared at the little screen that said pregnant.

I smiled at the test. I really have a baby in me. I'm going to be starting a family with Draco in 8 months. Ginny was still screaming about how excited she is when Harry and Ron came running in. I didn't even notice they were there because I was too engrossed with the small test that told me I was going to have a baby. Ginny snatched the test from my hands ripping me from my thoughts as I looked up at Harry and Ron, Ginny was shoving the tests in their faces and they both had a complete look of disgust on their faces.
