-legally blind without his glasses and despises contacts since he has very sensitive eyes, so they cause him great pain. It's ok though, his glasses look good on him

-very eccentric, living alone, in the middle of the a British county. He moved from Canada when he was very young, and thus has an accent

-on the beck and call to do tours or appear as an expert in documentaries, since he's quite knowledgeable at such a young age

-grew up watching documentaries and reading since he has very poor social skills, finding it difficult to relate to people

-is very desensitized to tragedy, since history, British history circling around castles to be specific, is quite bloody. He is not bothered by bloodiness, though he knows to acknowledge that it is tragedy

-has a very monotone voice and fidgets quite a bit, and often wears the same clothes, since he has a few copies of his favourite clothes

-vegan, and working on going plastic free, using solar panels and wind power, basically investing in every sort of eco power he could.

-is very close with his neighbours, since he helps them out quite a bit with computers and fixing things, since they're quite elderly and seem to understand him

-doesn't prefer any gender but has a very specific type. The "bad boy/girl/person". Dark clothes, leather, probably rides a motorbike, and will definitely run over the heart of Brooke

-his parents were quite wealthy and died when he was 20, so he inherited everything, being the only child.

-very romantic besides seeming quite cold. His house is in the gothic revival style, a romanticized version of the Middle Ages, which suits him quite well

-often gives lectures at universities around the country, and often returns to his home of Canada, kind of missing it there, though he finds Britain to suit him just fine. There's no castles there.
