Chapter three • Chemistry

               Peter whispered in Lara's ear and said "You wanna come with me at lunch?" She looked into his eyes and paused "ah I guess. And yanno I kinda had a thing for you since the beginning of the year and didn't say anything." He looked at her and raised his eyebrows "Are you kidding me, and you didn't tell me?? I liked you since the beginning of the year too. You didn't come off as the person who would like me so I just ignored you the whole year. I thought you liked Shane" She smiled and laughed a little as he followed by saying "I notice you in class, when you pull out that mini-chocolate bar everyday and sneak a little bite when the teacher isn't looking. When you get out of Calculus and walk to your locker I look at you from the top of the stairs cause I know you'll be there. And I also know you drive a Honda." She gasped and looked surprisingly "You noticed all those little things about me,  Wow I didn't think you'd actually like me like that."  He shook his head up and down. "We should hangout on the weekend." Lara stopped and thought about all the "plans" she had. She never did much on weekends besides binge watch old 60's movies. What would she tell her dad though? Without hesitation she looked at him and said "I'm not doing anything, let's hangout." Her nerves were shaking on the inside but she played it off like she was cool. They finished off cleaning and headed back to class. Lara pulled out her phone and texted Jamie 'Hey Jamie, I can't go for lunch today.... GUESS WHAT Peter just asked me to go to lunch with him!!! I can't say no. I'll text you with the details later." As Lara Jean and Peter walked back to the class everyone was packed up. The bell had rang to go for lunch.
                Lara looked at Peter as they went out the back doors to the parking lot area. He opened the door for her and got in the other side. They drove to McDonald's, grabbed and burger and fries and Peter took Lara to a look off spot just outside the school. Lara said "Wow Peter Kavinsky. You really are just as charming as you look." Peter grinned and said back "well Lara Jean I was planning on talking to you as-well. I just didn't know if you'd want a boyfriend." Lara looked over to Peter and went to kiss him. They started making out as she got on top of him. "You are so irresistible Covey" Peter said pulling down her skirt. She made a loud gasp as he started fingering her. She ran her hands threw his dark black hair. It was the first time she'd done anything with a boy, and she didn't know what to think of it. After they finished ,Peter drove them back to school to finish up there last two classes.
They walked into school where Lara met Jamie. She waved bye to Peter and started telling Jamie about how fast things were going with her and Peter. "Holy god Peter and me." As she ran out of breath from talking. Jamie put two and two together and realized what had happened. "Oh my gosh , so you and Kavinsky !!" Lara Jean smiled and said "I really want this to work. But how will I get it past my dad, you know how he feels about dating." Jamie shrugged " Well Lara J. You have to try with your dad. I guess he just wants you to have a good head on your shoulders. And so what, if he doesn't let you date just sneak around with him. Fuck your dad." Lara's eyes widened as she chuckled "Well that's a good way of putting it." They high fived ,and went to there class together and finished the day off. The rest of the school day Lara couldn't get her mind off Peter. She didn't realize how crazy he was for her either. But how would she end up telling her dad...
