Helena groaned as Joanna rubbed her twisted ankle. She had just decided to take a short cut back to the shop after the errands her boss had demanded her to do, but instead of getting back to the shop earlier she was chased by a stray dog. She twisted her ankle during the chase, and if it was not for Joanna she would have died in the jaws of that nasty beast.

"Helena, you're overreacting," Joanna said as she put more power into rubbing Helena's ankle. Helena winced and hissed at the sudden pain.

"I'm absolutely, one hundred per cent, not overreacting! That boss of ours is trying to find matters with me! I twisted my ankle running errands for her at the far end of the city and she's trying to cut the amount out of my salary!" Helena hissed furiously grabbing into the sides of the sofa.

"I'm talking about you dying in the jaws of that stray," Joanna said as she wrapped a piece of white cloth around Helena's ankle. "That's why I told you to get a boyfriend and get married quickly. That way, you didn't have to suffer so much working here."

"Well, why don't you do the same?" Helena shot back. Instead of replying, Joanna remained silent and pressed Helena's ankle. Helena winced in pain and glared at Joanna.

"You are one evil girl," Helena said.

"Glad you thought so highly of me," Joanna smiled naughtily before sauntering off.

"Helena, one classic latte coffee and one cup of spinach...bubble tea?" Joanna shouted out to Helena, who was working at the kitchen at the moment.

"Did I hear it right? Spinach? No one ordered that for like, ages!" Helena shouted back and Joanna nodded. Spinach bubble tea was one of the boss's "invention". Even though the boss herself thought it was one of the most disgusting beverage ever, it still went into the menu.

After informing the order to the chefs, Helena waited for a short while before taking the orders out to table no.5. She could see only a child of 6 or 7 years old with cute and sharp facial features sitting alone at the table. When his eyes met hers, he blinked and never avert his glance. Helena immediately took a liking to this kid.

"Annyeong, kid, did you order classic latte.coffee and spinach bubble tea?" Helena asked politely, and upon hearing the words "bubble tea" his face lit up with a smile and he vigorously nodded.

Helena could not help but feel warm at the little boy's sunny smile. She served the drinks with a smile on her face and proceeded to leave when the child grabbed her hand with his chubby and small ones.

"Noona! Can you eat with me? Please?" The child asked with his big pretty eyes staring back at her.

"Well..." It's hard to refuse, Helena thought before nodding, "alright, but only for a short while, arraseo? Eonnie need to get back to work."

The child eagerly nodded and pulled Helena to sit down with him. Helena gladly obeyed.

"Noona, what's your name? Mine is Sehun," Sehun said taking a sip of his bubble tea. Surprisingly he did not throw up or wince the least bit.

"Eh? My name? Uh...i-it's Helena," Helena stuttered, clearly surprised that such a small boy would actually have the courage to speak to an adult so casually.

"Really? Noona! You have such a beautiful name!" Sehun smiled as he exclaimed, his eyes forming two crescents.

"Aw, thank you, Sehunnie," Helena pinched Sehun's cheek as she inwardly swooned at his cuteness.

"Helena, the boss is going to be back, you should start getting back to work...omo! Luhan-ssi is here today?!" Joanna exclaimed as she spotted the little Sehun sitting on the table. Sehun waved.

"Luhan...?" Helena questioned.

"He used to come here every afternoon before the night shift! Our boss is crazy for him..." Joanna said before snapping back to reality. "Quick, get to work, you don't wanna get involve with Luhan or his son if you're going to get yourself fired! Go, go, go!"

Helena turned around to go but as she did so, she tripped over the foot of the coffee table. Pain started to spread across her ankle and she felt herself coming to a fall. She prepare herself for the cold, hard marble floor but instead she was wrapped in a warm embrace. Two arms were encircling her waist and she could feel someone's breath hitting her forehead.

Opening her eyes and glancing up, she saw an elfish yet handsome face. Forming a frown, the handsome stranger spoke.

"Are you alright?"

Helena could not feel anything except her own heart beat. It was like thousands of butterfly erupted in her chest and it was thudding so furiously her heart might explode.

"Ah! Luhan! Helena? What are you doing?" They heard someone dropping shopping bags and screamed. "Omo..." Joanna said as she saw her very irresponsible boss in a furious state.

The woman stomped towards Helena just as Luhan released her, and to Helena's surprise, she slapped her across her face. Helena felt her ankle giving away and she fell, hard, on the floor. Murmurs from the customers were rising.

"You're bleeding," Luhan said as he bent down to inspect Helena's ankle. Indeed, blood stains were showing through the white cloth.

"Oh no, I'm getting the kit," Joanna said as she proceeded to the staff's room.

"You step in there, you're fired!" The boss hissed. Instead of cowering, Joanna stepped towards the vicious woman and slapped her.

"I'm sorry, but I'm sick of your b*tchy attitude," Joanna said before leaving the startled woman standing there.

"I'm firing you! All of you!" She shouted to Joanna and then to Helena, anger and wrath was clearly showing on her face.

"I don't think so, Miss Jung," Luhan said as he coldly stared at her while standing up. Slowly he took out a piece of paper. Contract paper.

"I'm buying this shop, and your father had agreed on selling this shop to me," Luhan said revealing the signatures, "now if you excuse me..."

He bent down and carried Helena, bridal style.

Helena laid on the hospital bed. It was oddly comfortable. The doctor had declared that her ankle was infected due to the unprofessional bandaging. Luhan had kindly paid for her hospital bills, which she couldn't afford.

"How are you feeling, hmm?" Luhan asked smiling.

"Better, thank you, I owe you so much," Helena said.

"No, don't say something like that. I'm your new boss right now, so I'm responsible for your health," Luhan said.

"...Then you should go take your son home now, I mean, Sehun," Helena said gesturing towards Sehun. Instead, Luhan showed a confused face and laughed.

"What's so funny?"

"Sehun...my son? Who told you that? He's just my naughty brother!" Luhan chuckled as he wiped away his tears.

"But...you're way to old to be his bro-"

"Just shut up, okay?" He said, before bending and pecked her on the lips.
