Kris |Sweet Disasters|

Dedicated to @MissChoKaiLate

"Abby, you're not doing it right!" Kris stated as he sighed in frustration. He had just hired Abby a few weeks ago, and still the later did not know how to brew coffee beans.

Joanna, his sister had just opened a new cafe in Paris and handed the one in Seoul over to him. Without any employees to help him, she offered him Abby, her junior back in high school, which was, his junior as well.

To tell the truth, he had never really take notice of Abby before back in school. That figured, of course, because he was the jock, the popular guy, while she was the nerd sticking with the popular guy's sister. He had always thought she was just a nerd, no more. But, heck, he had been wrong. With the glasses off and the cafe uniforms on...

"Sir, I've been doing this for the whole day, are we opening the cafe, or are we going to sit here and rot for Christ's sake?" Abby's frustrated voice rang out beside Kris, pulling him out of his thoughts. Kris turned towards Abby with a scowl. See? That was what he meant! This nerd was pretty feisty.

"You sit here until you got a grip of these. I'm going out to get this cafe working," Kris said and stalked off, leaving Abby in her distress.

Coffee beans. She had never like those things. And now she's stuck to brewing these while her boss, a.k.a crush, could be flirting with some shameless customers out there.

Abby sighed as she threw the coffee beans aside and got up. No matter how hard Kris is going to get her, she's ditching the job.

"So, Kris, are you free this weekend? Maybe we can get together, you know, like old times?" Abby heard a female's voice as she got out. A girl was sitting near the counter and Kris was looking uncomfortable. Abby rolled her eyes. As far as Abby knew, Kris was very, and she means, very very terrible at rejecting. Just then, Kris spotted Abby and gestured for her to come over to him. Abby raised a suspicious eyebrow, but she obeyed.

"Sorry to interrupt, but he's taken," Abby said as she came to stand beside Kris. The woman raised an eyebrow.

"And who the heck are you?"

"She's, uh, my wife," Kris said and Abby raised both eyebrows at his last statement.

Seriously? Wife?

What am I suppose to do? She'll come after me as long as I'm not married, Kris shot back as Abby shot an accusing look at him.

"Uh, yeah," Abby said half heartedly, "I'm his, uh, wife. Yes." And just to make it more convincing, Kris pulled Abby closer so that she could sit on his lap.

"Oh, then, sorry to interrupt, I must...go," the woman made a disappointed face while forcing out a fake smile, "Nice to meet you, uh..."

"Abby."

"Abby. Bye, Kris." The woman rushed off.

"Wow, nice acting back there, you know, you two kinda look like real couples," a voice sounded and both Kris and Abby turned to find a wicked grin waiting for them.

"I'm back from Paris, deary!" Joanna shouted as she opened her arms wide for the two of them.

"Since Joanna's back, you can sleep later. You don't have to come so early. I'm sure Joanna and I can handle things ourselves."

"Said the almighty, cold and charmingly hot, Kris. You know, if you don't want me in your cafe, you can just spit it out! That hurts, you know?" Abby shouted at the face of the alpaca doll. Kris had given it as her birthday gift few years back.
