Kieva watched as Chen served the coffee to other customers. His sweet smile probably made every female customers in the cafe swoon at his feet, not to mention his pretty camel eyes. It was not a surprise if every women wanted a piece of him.

Kieva was one of them. She had meant to support Joanna's new cafe the first time she came around, but when she first laid her eyes on this handsome waiter, it was like something clicked. She just wanted to get to know him better.

"You know, if you kept staring behind that menu, he's going to notice."

Kieva immediately sat still upon hearing Joanna's voice. Clearing her throat, she self-consciously smoothed her hair out and dusted her clothes.

"Is it that obvious...?" Kieva bit her lip and asked. From the looks of it, it was pretty damn obvious. Joanna rolled her eyes and gave Kieva a look.

"Why didn't you just tell me that you're interested in Chen? I could've introduce him to you," Joanna said taking a sip of her frappuccino. Kieva bit her lip again and clenched her knuckles tightly together.

"I...I didn't want to sound like I'm using you. I came to this cafe in the first place to give you support, I figure that I'll do this myself instead of troubling you..." Kieva said, and earned a hit on the head from Joanna.

"Silly Kieva! Even though you and I have only be friends for a year, you're still like my sister. And how are you going to do this yourself, huh? Is it going to remain a crush forever?" Joanna said.

"What are you going to do...?" Kieva suddenly had a bad feeling about this. Evil aura was probably radiating off Joanna right now.

"Ahahahaha~" Joanna laughed, earning glances from her customers, but she did not seem to care at all.

Chen and Kieva were awkwardly sitting together at the table, stirring their own cup of tea and coffee. Joanna was serving today instead. She would poke her head around at times, grinning and asking them how they were doing. Kieva was probably imagining things right now, like how she would get a knife from Joanna's kitchen and-

"Stop staring at Joanna like you wanna kill her with a knife from her kitchen," Chen suddenly blurted out and Kieva widened her eyes to Chen.

"How did you do that?" Kieva asked, horrified. Could this gorgeous camel-eyes be an alien that can actually read people's mind?

"You're pretty damn easy to read right now," Chen winked, making Kieva's heart racing and cheeks flushed, "You know, I like it better when you smile while you're talking to Joanna all the time. Why can't you do the same to me?'

"I don't know..." Kieva said.

Wait, did he just admit that...?

"Did you perhaps...?" Kieva asked, wide eyed. Chen immediately went into panic mode and started spilling his coffee on the table.

"I-I...I need t-to g-get t-the...t-table cloth! That's right! B-be back!" He stuttered, a tint of pink was obvious on his cheeks as he rushed off into the kitchen with his cup in hand.

Kieva stared after him in awe. Wow, who would have thought that Chen actually checked her out too? Not Kieva.

"How's things going?" Jonna poke her head aroung their table, brows rising cheekily. Kieva grabbed Joanna's shirt collar and started shaking like a maniac.

"YOU KNEW! YOU KNEW THAT HE'S BEEN CHECKING ME! HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME?" Kieva shouted. A few of the customers raised their heads but were shot back down to their food after a glare from the scary Kieva. "Give me one reason why you did that!"

"Because it's fun...?" Joanna said, smiling guiltily. When she felt Kieva tugging on her sleeves and dragging her away, Joanna knew that her life is in danger.
