The Fight

Chapter 8: the Fight

Its been about a week and im glad that the dreams have stopped. It was late in the evening and me and Luke were sitting outside talking about random things. My brother, Jordan, was inside the cabin.

After a while i slowly rested my head on Luke's shoulder. My brother must have seen this and got a little mad because thats when we both hear loud footsteps coming our way.

"LUKE!!" I hear Jordan yell the boy's name and Luke stiffens slightly. We both get up and turn towards my older brother.

"Jade get inside, NOW." He growls. I kinda stiffen up a little and quickly walk inside.

"He is really scary when he is angry." I mumble. I sat down on the couch and waited for the boys to walk back in.

'Why does he want to talk to Luke alone anyways?' I think to myself. I get so lost in my thoughts that i dont notice that someone had entered the room....

-Luke's P.O.V-

When Jade's brother yelled my name i stiffened.

He sounded really pissed.

He told Jade to go inside and she didn't hesitate to obey. Once she was inside thats when Jordan started glaring at me.

"What did i do?" I asked a slightly scared.

"Dont you dare lay your hands on Jade, you got that!?" He snapped.

"I didnt do anything! What the hell are you talking about!?" I yelled back.

The fighting went on for a few minutes before i notice something out of the corner of my eye. I look over there, completely ignoring Jordan, to see what it was. I saw the outline of a man and then i realized it went inside.... With Jade.

Jordan, obviously more mad that i ignored him, hit me upside the head.

"Hey! Shut up Jordan! I think i saw someone go inside!" I snapped.

He stopped talking for a moment and thats when we hear Jade scream. Both me and Jordan run to the house and slam the door open.

-Jade's P.O.V-

I sat there lost in thought until a cold hand touched my shoulder. I jumped up and screamed.

"HOLY CRAP THATS COLD!" I yell. I turn around and my eyes nearly popped out of my sockets. "Alex!? What are you doing here?" I say stunned to see him again.

Then the door slammed open and i turn to see Jordan and Luke. Luke looked more startled to see that Alex is here. Jordan was glaring at Alex.

Luke go by Jordan and ran over to me and pushed me behind him. I was so confused by what was going on i didn't realize that Jordan had drawn his sword.

When i finally snapped out of it, pushed Luke out of my way and ran infront of Alex.

"Stop! He just scared me. there isnt any reason to fight!" I said trying to reason with my pissed brother. Thats when i felt Alex put his hand on my shoulder and lightly push me aside.

I just stared at him confused.

"Lets take this outside shall we?" Alex said staring at Jordan.

"Sounds good to me." Jordan growled. They both went outside away form the cabin and readied themselves to fight each other.

Me and Luke watched from a distance as the fight began.
