Chapter 6: Feeling Watched
After that day Alex visited me, ive always had this sense that someone was watching me, but as hard as i would try to ignore it, the feeling wouldn't go away. My brother noticed my sudden discomfort in everything i did. If i tapped my feet nervously on the floor or look around cautiously and he would put a hand on my should and say its ok. I would always thank him for letting me know but somewhere, in the back of my mind, i knew it wasn't and i could tell he knew.
Luke on the other hand was oblivious. He would always try to lighten the thickness of the atmosphere. And i had to admit it, he was really good at it.
I would always forget about the feeling hanging around me whenever he would start up a conversation. He would make all of us laugh till we couldn't breathe.
I was glad to have someone like him around.
During the nights i would close and lock my windows and shut the curtains, hoping that i would be able to get some sleep an it helps but the darkness always got to me, but i quickly got over it.
Some nights, i swear i can feel someone sitting on the bed next to me. And when i would wake the next morning nothing had been moved, the door was shut and the windows closed and curtains closed as well. I was always so confused by this that i would just lay down and stair at the ceiling till Jordan would snap me out of my train of thoughts.
But one thing that would confuse me the most is my dreams...
They always had Alex in them.
