Chapter 6

Alice's POV

Zayn, Louis, and Harry laughed and went down to the one of the fishing docks.  One-by-one, they kicked off their shoes and dangled their legs in.

i was left alone with Liam, who was texting Sofia..again.

"Liam" i scooched closer to him on the picnic blanket.

"Mm?"

"Who are you texting?" i asked, even though i knew.

"Sofia..."

"Can i give you my number?" i begged,  "Then we can text, too"

"That's ok" he stared at his phone.  "I don't text girls unless it's my girlfriend, ,or if i'm single-any girls i like"

i bit my lip.  "You don't like me..."

"You're ok"  he shrugged glancing up at me.

i felt like crying.  Maybe we weren't meant to be.

"Alice!"  Harry called.  "Come join us!"

"Be right there!" i yelled.

"Even if you don't like me" i turned to Liam.  "I still like you"

"OK" he said-obviously distracted by his insane texting.

i leaned foward and pecked is cheek beore standing up.  Immediately, he wiped off the kiss, so i ran down towards the other three boys.

"Hey!"  Zayn exclaimed as i kicked off my Converse.

"Oh, hi" i shrugged putting my feet in.

"Do you like Liam?"  Louis asked.

i nodded.  "But he's already taken."

"Don't worry"  Harry smiled.  "If you and Liam are meant to be, then it will all come together"

"Maybe" i sighed.  "Are Niall and Julia still gone?"

"Yeah"  Zayn nodded.

"Probably snogging"  Louis mumbled making Harry laugh.

"So..." i trailed off.  "How's life?"

"AmaZAYN!"  Zayn yelled.

"ExtrordiHARRY!"  exclaimed Harry.

"FabuLOUIS"  Louis smiled.

"Are you guys finished with your tour for the summer?"

"Yeah"  Zayn replied.  "Now we just wanna kick back for some R&R."

"We should all do something fun"  Harry said.

"Like the beach"  suggested Louis.  "All 7 of us!"

"That would be fun" i smiled.

"When should we leave?"  Louis asked.

"day afer tomorrow"  Zayn shrugged.  "We should go before too many crowds"

"Yeah"  Harry agreed.  "And that'll give us a full day to pack.  Alice?  If you want, you and Julia can spend the next two nights with us so we don't have to go all the way to the other side of London to pick you up"

"Ok" i smiled.  "Julia and i will pack when we get home and meet you guys at your house?"

"Yeah"  he nodded.  "And maybe we can get a bit of help packing tomorrow?"

"Of 'course!" i laughed.

"HIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We looked up and saw Julia and Niall running toward us.  Liam followed slowly-still gazing at his phone.  We told them 3 our plans, and they all loved them.

i seriously couldn't wait.

"Sofia's coming, too"  Liam grinned.  "She can spend the night with us the next two nighs"

i gritted my teeth.  i HAD to get rid of Sofia...but then Liam would kill me!  Maybe she would drown in the ocean, or get run over by a car?  That would be awesome....WHAT WAS I SAYING?!  Yes, i wanted Liam, but...why was this confusing?!
