Liam's POV

Wow, I can't believe that I managed to tell Alice that I like her. I don't think I have ever seen her smile before but now she is and it's all because of me. I did not see this coming.

She really is beautiful. But even more so with a smile on her face.

"We should probably start going back to the house before the others are wondering where we are and stuff," I quickly say, though I feel like I am ruining the moment right now.

Just like that, the smile goes away and she now frowns. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

She starts walking back before me. I hope I didn't hurt her feelings already. We've only been together for a few minutes, it can't end already, not like this.

"Is everything alright?" I ask her, though I kind of regret it. Who asks that kind of question to someone? I feel so dumb right now.

She shrugs her shoulder. "Yeah, I guess. Just a little tired, why?"

"I was just wondering," I told her and we walked the rest of the way to the house in silence. When we opened the door and walked in, I was surprised at how quiet it was. Everyone must have fallen asleep while we were away.

We both quietly go up the stairs, careful not to make any sound to wake anyone up. I walk Alice to the room she is staying at. We hug each other before I leave to go to my own room.

Once in my room, I close the door behind me and change into pajamas with a smile on my face thinking about Alice. I went on my bed, getting comfortable and ready to sleep after this long day. Now that I think about, quite a lot has happened.

I can't believe I forgot to say 'good night' to her. How could I? I get out of my comfy bed and tip toe to where she is. I kneel beside her, she looks so peaceful and cute when trying to sleep. I wonder if she fell asleep already.

I look at the blanket she is using and notice they are moving. Poor girl, she is shivering on a cold night. I am very careful to pick her up and remove her from her bed. Since she doesn't open her eyes or make a sound, she must be very tired and fell asleep quickly.

Carrying her to my room was a little difficult since the lights were not on, so I had to be careful where I was stepping. I'm just glad I didn't drop her or anything. That would not be good thing to happen at all.

And now I am actually thankful that I have a large bed. At first, I was wondering why did I pick it out, but I now have a purpose for it. I know Alice will not be shivering here, especially with me by her side. At least, I hope she won't.

Carefully, I tuck her into the blankets, and lay down next to her. I hear her turn, and when I open my eyes, she is looking back at me. "I thought you were asleep" I whispered to her.

"How can I be asleep when I am next to you?" I can see her smiling here in the dark, and it is still as beautiful as ever.

"What are you trying to say?" I ask her, more interested in this conversation.

It takes her a while to answer me. "That I..." She stopped what she was saying when I reached my arms around her and pulled her closer to me.

"You what?"

"Never mind," she says and goes quiet.

I use this silence to think of a plan that would make her happy, and even have her finish what she was saying earlier. She's probably too tired to think right now. "Are you doing anything tomorrow?"

"Not that I know of, why?" she asks.

"I wanted to take you out to lunch before we have to leave to do other things, and so we can get to know each other better."

"Yeah, sure," she says and closes her eyes. Too bad she fell asleep while talking to me, I just hope that she still wants to have lunch with me tomorrow.
