It was a normal Saturday morning. You woke up at 5am and grabbed an apple for breakfast before heading to the Batcave to train. You walked in to see that Father had just gotten home and was going to bed. On weekends he would normally patrol till around 5 and then sleep till 11.

Your Mother had always made you train harder than the rest of the League of Assassins and because of this you were used to waking up before sunrise and training for at least 8 hours before taking a break and then training till sun down. Now that you lived in the manor, this was no longer required of you but you still insisted on waking before sunrise and training as much as possible throughout the day. You trained till around noon before you went to take a shower.

You got out of the shower and looked in the mirror. Your cheek was swollen and was a deep purple where Y/n had hit you the night before. You would need to cover that up later before she got here, you wouldn't want her to get suspicious. You got dressed and went to the dining room to have lunch. Father was the only one in the dining room and he was eating his breakfast and reading the news paper. You quietly sat across from him and waited for Alfred to bring you food.

"I really wish I could meet your friend Damian but I have a meeting I need to go to. Maybe you could ask her to stay for dinner?"

"She's not my friend or even my acquaintance. We are simply peers and I don't want her in the manor any longer that she needs to be."

"Then why did you invite her over, you could have gone somewhere else."

It was true that you could have gone somewhere else and you had considered it but you decided to invite her over because you wanted to try and figure her out. She was so different from all of the other girls and it was impossible to read her. You sat there quietly and didn't respond.

" I want to meet her."

"Another time. We are going to be partners for the whole year so she will most likely come to the manor often. Besides she hates me anyway."

"And you don't hate her?"

"OF COURSE I HATE HER LOOK WHAT SHE DID TO MY FACE!"

"You need to cover that up before she gets here."

"I am aware."

Alfred then brought in the soup he had made for lunch, you started eating, and the room settled into a comfortable quiet. You finished eating and looked and looked at the time, Y/n would be here in less than an hour.

"Excuse me Father I am going to get ready."

You stood in front of the mirror and started to apply makeup to the bruise on your face. You had found that you were wearing makeup quite often to cover up bruises from your midnight crusades. At first Bruce would put it on for you but over the past few months you had gotten quite good at it and did it yourself now. You had covered about half of the bruise when Tim walked into your bathroom and laughed.

"You putting makeup on for your girlfriend? Isn't it normally the other way around?"

You scowled, "Drake get out of my room."

"Damian and Y/n sitting in a tree-"

"DRAKE GET OUT!"

He smirked, "Make me."

He then took off running down the halls laughing. You dropped what you were doing and sprinted down the halls after. You got to the staircase and tried to tackle him but he jumped and landed in the foyer.

"Too slow Little D!"

Tim knew that you hated that nickname. Infuriated you grabbed a birdarang out of your utility belt (which you had with you at almost all times) and threw it at Tim as he ran around the corner. Tim yelled out in pain and fell to the ground as it was embedded into his shoulder. He yanked it out and and looked at the blood covering it.
