Chapter 43:

NEW STORY CHECK OUT THE TRAILER

Ashley's POV: 

what shes wearing on the side (Curled hair, Hat, White laced skater skirt, Black laced crop top, with black wedges, light makeup)

"Hey, you were right" I say to the man behind the counter and he looks up at me confused before smiling "hey, ashley?" "and jacob?" I say and he comes behind and leans on the counter facing me "are you all good now?" he asks and I nod "Im so good, I spoke to liam and it turned out that he found a video of luke rejecting a flirty girl then calling me his girlfriend, then my brother told me to go and see him the day he got back so I did, then we got back together!"

I say not fading the smile on my face "I'm happy for you" he says and I giggle "I've told you so much about my life, tell me about yours" I say and he chuckles "my lifes boring, I work here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I go to gym every Tuesday, visit my parents every Sunday, visit my sister every Saturday and on Thursdays I tend to do whatever. I live by myself in an apartment, hang out with my mates every friday night, dont have a girlfriend because I dont like the thought of messing around with girls, I like waiting for the right girl to come"

He says and puts his head up to think "I also babysit my sisters kids sometimes, when their busy. and thats it, not much" "I think it is" I say and he raises his eyebrow "really" "yeah, you may think thats boring but I actually think that guys that do that all week, are interesting, loving and caring especially to his family and the fact that you wait for the right girl, I love that, I hate guys that just mess around with girls as well" I say and he smiles

"Well thanks for thinking that, it means a lot! I really am happy for you!" he says and I smile again and hug him tightly "thankyou, for all your help!" I say and he shakes his head "dont worry" "jacob, more customers" a lady calls out from behind the kitchen and I pull away from the hug "I guess i'll see you" I say and he smiles "bye" he says and I wave again walking out. I feel myself collide with a muscular body and I apologize quickly, "I am so sorry, I'm-" I stop myself and just stare shocked and worried at the smirked face looking down at me. "Jayden?"

I ask stunned almost feeling my breathe stopping but racing faster than normal. "Hey gorgeous, miss me?" he asks flashing his smirk and I step back, no not now, why now? "I have to go" I say and turn around "Wait, maybe we can catch up, you know for a drink or something?" he asks grabbing my wrist and pull it away from his grip continuing to walk, I refuse to fall under his trap again. "I dont drink" I simply say and go to the very small parking lot "I meant coffee" he said still following me and I stop turning around "what do you want from me, can you not see that I am trying to avoid you? You ruined my relationship with luke once, its not happening again, and I thought I made that very, very clear to you. So still what part do you not understand. Leave. Me. The. Hell. ALONE" 

I say and he takes a deep breathe "Ashley-" "I'm done here, I'm leaving" I say and turn around walking again. I hear heavy footsteps behind me and he stands in front of me "Your not walking away" He says clentching his jaw and I scoff "watch me asshole" I say and push past him "Ashley come on, give me a break, I've been through a lot, I'm sorry that I hurt you, but im telling you, I'm hurt too" He says and I scoff, he should really take an acting job, up my freaking ass.

I turn around and laugh "please, you will never be put in the same category as me, the amount of shit you put me through, do you blame me for not giving you a break?" I say and he shakes his head "Of course not and I'm not proud of what I did, I'm sorry, but please ash, I really need you right now" "JAYDEN, I AM NOT COMING BACK TO YOUR SORRY ASS! GET OVER YOURSELF!" I scream and he just looks down

"I just needed yo- you know what, dont worry about it" he says and turns around, he almost sounded like he was going to cry. "Jayden" I call out to him again and he turns around sighing "give me one reason why i should trust you again" I say looking at him in disguist. his eyes light up and he moves closer "can we talk about this somewhere else?" I scoff and look away "I knew it, im outta here" I say and walk away

"John, he, he died" I stop as I hear him say that with his voice breaking. I turn around and stare at him "we away for a couple of days, we got drunk at this club and we called a cab. It was really late and dark-" he stops himself and looked down shoving his hands in his pocket "the driver lost control cause this random truck came out of nowhere"

He said with his voice cracking more and more each time he talks. I move closer to him to hear his quiet words. He looked up and i saw his eyes getting red and him biting his lip to stop the tears that were already falling. "I survived, he didnt" He says and I sigh looking down "Jayden, I, Im sorry" I say and look back up at him  "Its alright, I expected it, but believe it or not running into you, is kind of making my day"

He lets out a little chuckle and I continue to stare at him as the tears fall down his face. Him and John were best friends since middle school, I remember first meeting Jayden he was with John, I thought they were brothers. "are you ok?" I ask and he looks a me "I dont know, but all I do know is that, I wish I was the one that died in that accident, not him, he had too much of a good heart, me im nothing but a piece of shit"

"Come on, dont say that" "why not, its true?" he says annoyed and I sigh "how bout that coffee, I know a place" I say and he looks up wiping his tears nodding "If you wouldnt mind" He says and I nod, "can you just give me a second, I just have to make a call" I say and he nods "Luke?" he asks and I nod "It's alright, go, I understand" I smile and walk away getting out my phone and calling Luke. After three rings he answers 

L- Hey sexy, you coming over 

A- about that, I can't make it 

L- Why?

A- I kinda ran into Jayden

L- What the hell, he didnt try to rape you did he?

A- no, he was actually acting pretty friendly

L- come on, your really bailing me for him, that douchbag 

A- Well I wasnt, until he told me something which even broke my heart 

L- dont tell me its some lame, pathetic speech about how much he loves you and needs you again 

A- no, but forget the love part, more like need 

L- for what, seduction 

A- no, Luke, his friend died 

L- oh I didnt expect that 

A- me either, one minute im yelling at him, nek minute hes all upset and shit and he started crying 

L- gay 

A- Luke, this guy was like his brother, how would you feel if it was James 

L- ok, dont bring me or my friends into this, and why are you taking his side 

A- look there arent any sides, I love you and you should trust me, right now hes just someone who needs a friend

L- yeah someone labelled douchbag 

A- Luke...

L- alright, alright be there for him, but if anything happens-

A- yeah, yeah your on speed dial

L- alright, love you, and let him know that 

A- shutup love you too, I'll come over soon

L- you better 

A- I will 

I hung up and turned back around to see Jayden on his phone "alright you ready" I ask and he nods "Thankyou again for doing this, it means a lot, after everything" "well you needed a friend so I'm here" I say and he smiles at me 'I'm sorry for everything I put you through" "It's alright, just dont do it again, I will literally hate you forever" I say and he chuckles "will do."
