These past few months, especially after their lost to qualify for Koushien, Koyoumi had been leaving more.

On top of that she had grown feelings for what it seemed to be, well, none other than the ikemen catcher Miyuki Kazuya.

"Hey, think we can talk?" Yagami had went and approached Koyoumi who had been laughing alongside Kawakami and Kuramochi.

"Yeah, of course." The girl stood up, waving goodbye to the two of them and exited the classroom, soon enough they were at the rooftop.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Koyoumi innocently asked, looking at her friend which blonde-silver hair had been brushed by the japanese wind.

"Lately, I noticed that you've been leaving the dorms a lot," Yagami trailed on. "And you've been with Kazuya more often..."

"I... I guess you could say that." Koyoumi moved closer to her, a somewhat forced smile making it on to her lips.

"If you want me to be completely blunt with what I've been seeing," Turning to face her dead in the eye.

"Are you with Kazuya?" Her tone of voice almost raised up, the shocked expression graced Koyoumi's face.

"No... I'm not! Don't take it the wrong way!" Koyoumi then processed her words, quickly turning it down.

Yagami just smiled right at her, letting a small giggle leave her lips. Yet to Koyoumi's ears, it felt forced.

"You like him right? It's okay, I support you guys!"

The brunette female had opened her mouth to say something, yet she closed it instantly seeing how the girl was.

"Y-Yeah... Thanks." She finally answered back, Yagami forced a larger grin, grabbing on to her hands.

"I'll make sure you guys end up together! I'll make MiyuYoumi cannon! I promise!" Koyoumi taken aback by her actions just weakly smiled and nodded.

"Y-Yeah..." Was all she said, Yagami flashing her another grin she then let go and urged her to come back to class.

"It's okay! I'll grab lunch later..." Koyoumi trailed on, watching as her dual haired friend leave to the door.

In a few weeks, the third years had already retired, as they announced the new string members.

Koyoumi had gotten the ace number, while Yagami who had been given the right fielder number of seven.

Yet in those past weeks, the two girls had grown to keep secrets away from each other, Yagami's heart aching every moment.

Every moment she saw Miyuki and Koyoumi together, that is.

After the announcement of Koyoumi and Miyuki being official after they had talked on the rooftop it broke her everytime.

Everytime the two would laugh together, smiling carelessly and holding hands to show that they were definitely in love.

It only showed Yagami giving them beautiful smiles made out of lies, hiding the aching feeling in her heart.

The girl didn't want to ruin her friendship, no. Not because of one guy, it isn't worth it I tell you.

So she locked all those feelings away so she could see the two happy, all she wanted was Koyoumi to be happy.

Yet, what was in it for her? Seeing the man she loves, with her best friend holding hands and looking at each other lovingly?
