"Do you want some sunscreen for your head, Tanba-san?"
⠀⠀⠀⠀

"Fumi-chan!" I called out to my friend which gave me a cheeky grin as Tanba-senpai chuckled and nodded. This made everyone on the team, even me laugh.

Tanba-senpai even sat down so Fumi-chan could put sunscreen on his bald head and even everyone came by to spread some.

"Well, looks like your head is shining like a glass ball now." Ryo-senpai commented that caused everyone to start laughing.

"Alright, let's get out there." The regulars yelled out a large 'hai!' before they started to head out the dugout to the field.

The crowd went wild, cheering for multiple people. They cheered for Seido, the senpais and everyone else in the team.

Our opponents Akikawa on the other hand don't have as much people, probably busy with school. Then again I wouldn't blame them, Akikawa wasn't this good until they had their new player.

They had one player which turned the entire team around, You Shunshin. A pitcher which came from Taiwan and got intrested in japanese baseball.

And ever since the game did start, You-san's pitching has been a hassle for everyone to the point that we are actually two runs behind.

And apparently Furuya-kun's has pitched over seventy times in the last three innings. With the heat rising it isn't a good thing for him.

"Kataoka-kantoku," Yukiume-senpai suddenly spoke out, she had a look on her face I just couldn't figure out.

She looked at the distance, right at Furuya-kun who stood on the mound with such an expressionless face.

"It's best if we switch him out now with Eri, Ichidaisan is probably watching and we don't want him to be exploited."

"What about Kawakami?! Can't we switch him in instead of Yagami?!" Oota-sensei our club president panicked. "Yagami might get exploited as well if she stays too long!"

"Eri has played much more difficult games than these, Oota-sensei." She retorted back, the plain gaze on her face making shivers run down my spine.

'Well senpai... you're not wrong.' Having exhaled a bit, I listened to their conversation. "Actually, we can have a pitcher relay."

"Huh?" We all looked at her because she's crazy. 'Wouldn't that mean that all pitchers would be on the mound?'

"If we just get Eijun on the mound, Haruichi pinch batting sometime soon we will have a chance, I just know it." Yukiume-senpai had uttered.

"With the way that,  this pitcher got the umpire on his side with his close borderline pitches, he's a troublesome one."

I suddenly heard the whistle, turning around to see the umpire throw is hand up in the air. "Strike! Batter out! Switch!"

"Ryo-senpai striked out..." Gasping at the sight we watched as the short senpai made his way to the dugout.

"Does it sound like a plan, kantoku?" We all looked over to kantoku who had his usual look, him suddenly nodding a few moments. "I guess you take the lead for this game."

"Then it's a plan." The glint in Yukiume-senpai's eyes caused shivers to run down my spine, the smirk on her face said it all.

"Haruichi, tell Eijun he's going to switch Satoru out please." Senpai stood up from her spot as Haruichi-kun answered and ran to the bullpen.
